Wyrdwad: The story and the main character would probably annoy you, but I think the gameplay and atmosphere would more than make up for it. I'd suggest downloading the demo and giving it a try -- it's really long, and should tell you everything you need to know. Feb 21, 2015 17:36:24 GMT -5
Wyrdwad: If you're still turned off to it after the demo, then you probably shouldn't bother playing any more. But I have a feeling you'd get as addicted to the demo as I was and just want more. ;) Feb 21, 2015 17:37:40 GMT -5
MP83: I will give this lengthy demo a chance at some point. Thanks! (: Feb 21, 2015 18:52:23 GMT -5
SkyeWelse: I agree as well MP83. It's a fantastic game and I hope you come to enjoy it! :) Feb 22, 2015 1:05:40 GMT -5
SkyeWelse: In case anyone wants to grab a cheap VM Japan, I've got one listed on eBay right now. It's an extra copy I have on hand. Feb 24, 2015 14:18:54 GMT -5
Gamemusicfreak: Gurumin Steam Launch: 3-30-2015! :o Feb 24, 2015 21:31:48 GMT -5
Wyrdwad: Hey MP83, you know that Banjo Guy Ollie dude who does those awesome banjo arrangements of video game songs? He has an MSX-themed show now, and just reviewed Knightmare! Click Feb 25, 2015 4:30:37 GMT -5
Wyrdwad: Hoping he gets to Maze of Galious and Shalom soon, as I'd love to hear him talk more about those games too. Cool to see the MSX getting a little love on Retroware TV! Feb 25, 2015 4:31:01 GMT -5
SkyeWelse: That's a great review. I hope he'll do some others as well such as Treasure of Usas and Mr. Ghost. Thanks for sharing. It also reminds me that I need to try out Knightmare Gold on my Turbo R sometime. Feb 25, 2015 11:25:11 GMT -5
SkyeWelse: His King's Valley review is fun to check out too. I've always liked that game. Feb 25, 2015 11:30:34 GMT -5
Gamemusicfreak: Impending snowstorm.... Work's gonna be fun! :( Feb 25, 2015 12:08:20 GMT -5
SkyeWelse: When Noi is following Nayuta, sometimes it appears as if he has her pink hair. Especially when he has a helmet on! Feb 27, 2015 0:51:39 GMT -5
MP83: I'm really liking the MSX Mansion show so far. When I first heard about Banjo Guy Ollie, I never would have guessed that he's actually really into MSX stuff. (: Here's waiting for his next episodes! Feb 28, 2015 1:22:08 GMT -5
MP83: Thanks for sharing, Wyrdwad! Feb 28, 2015 1:23:16 GMT -5
SkyeWelse: I wrote to Ollie over Twitter. He's a nice guy and replied back the same day explaining that he plans to continue with more MSX Mansion videos. He said it was due to the lack of MSX reviews online, so he started his own. Feb 28, 2015 1:26:20 GMT -5
SkyeWelse: I also told him that he should consider parodying the US SNES cover of Phalanx. :) Feb 28, 2015 1:27:58 GMT -5 *
Wyrdwad: I've had a few conversations with him in YouTube comments myself. He seems really cool, and seems to have really great taste in games and game music alike! ;) I really think he has the potential to become the next Smooth McGroove, too, with his talent. Feb 28, 2015 2:32:35 GMT -5
jdkluv: Not sure if it ever got linked here. Mar 2, 2015 8:49:44 GMT -5
