Ya know, since we have threads for currently playing and finished games, how about a thread about stuff you'll be getting in the future or already on order? XD This probably won't have many replies but at least it'll be another thread that we can use to go off-topic in. :D For me, I have: - DJMax Classiquai (however you spell it) Edition
- DJMax Black Square
- the DJMax Technika soundtrack thing
- Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes PS2
- Falcom weekly special: Zwei!! & Xanadu Next DVD-ROMs
- My Japanese Coach
Yeah, I decided to check out MJC. Bought it from Amazon.com and having it take the scenic route of going to my bf's place and then up here to Canada. The Falcom stuff will apparently ship out this Friday! I'm excited! ^__________^

Hmm, well I have a huge chunk of games that I want to buy from a member here, I also have Zwei and Xanadu next in the works. On Ebay, I grabbed Sonic Chaos, and am bidding on Ninja Gaiden and Golden Axe Warriors, all for the Sega Master System. Apart from that I spent WAAAAY too much money last payday so I am going to hold off on buying games till after Christmas <---- Well that's at least what my better half proclaims

I decided I liked FFTA2 so much that I decided to actually buy it. (Actually, I was going to buy it anyways, but I decided to give in and but it now.) Soooo... for the next few weeks I shall be staring at my doorstep like an obsessed fool waiting for that to arrive. Other than that, the next few games I thought I'd buy are: - Suikoden Tierkreis (I'll pre-order it late November! I'm getting a wee bit paranoid though that it might... run out of stock though? [But that'll never happen... right? :'D])
- Sword of Etheria/OZ (If its still available in the shops!)
- Final Fantasy IV (I'm liking it lots! Original copy for collection please!)
- Eternal Sonata (ah... no Xbox 360, but who cares about that! I'll buy one next year!)
- Tales of Vesperia? (Same as above. If I find in shop. Otherwise... download!)
Er... and there's a big list of the games that I plan to get immediately! Within the next 5 minutes! Without buying..! And so those don't belong in this topic I suppose. X'DXanadu Next only got released in English for the N-Gage, right...? I've heard you guys talk about it so much that... hem... I think I want to try...

I am going to be placing in a huge order with those RisingSun kats. Not exactly sure what I will be ordering, but I know it will probably consist of 2 Neo Geo AESs, and just a bunch of random accessories, like another multi-tap for Sega Saturn. 10 player Bomb off!

Nothing. I promised myself not to buy anything for the rest of the year after this month's games before I go completely broke

Preordered: - Legacy of Ys Book I & II (DS) Buying soon: - GBA Flash Cart... when I know which one I want. I just want to use it for my Gameboy Player. I don't give two effs about using one on the DS, so I'm annoyed about so-called GBA kits that require/include DS slot stuff. Eventually considering: - Opoona. Why? Because clearly, fans of EarthBound enjoy Opoona. Perhaps not the best reason, but the reviews and all kindof sway my decision on this as well. - My Japanese Coach. Why? Because I plan on getting over being self-centered and sheltered, to see the world. In order to become culturally, culinarily, educationally and entertainably involved, I do believe I should have every resourceful document and software possible. So what, if kancho can happen; I'll have a plate or some kind of protective padding to eliminate the risk and discomfort. XD I'm not afraid to be creative. Yakra: I'm glad to hear there are others considering Eternal Sonata, it is worth every penny. As for Xanadu Next, most of us play the PC version. The N-Gage version is said to be quite different from the PC release, possibly considered obsolette. I cannot confirm this, but I know that I enjoy the PC version; even without knowledge and understanding of the Japanese language. Zuu: Let me know what you think of MJC, as I'm interested in that as well.

Me want Eternal Sonata now now NOW! Hrm... I started wondering whether there was a N-Gage emulator for PSP... Then I could have tried Xanadu Next on that and if I liked really, truly enough, gotten a PC copy too. The hg101 article didn't seem to have such amazing words for the N-Gage version though... (Nor does there appear to be any such emulator on the PSP either. Pah! Oh well... one day!)

I preordered Valkyria Cronicles, and Chrono Trigger DS today. This marks my first PS3 preorder, even though I don't have the console yet. I am waiting for the PS3 slimjim to hit stores, which is something we all know is going to happen.

The N-Gage version is the same, but they removed all the music and replaced it with one single tune (the Xanadu theme) that plays EVERYWHERE except for the bosses, and the boss music from Ys VI, strangely. The game is fun to play, but uses a different experience system and is much MUCH MUCH harder. The frame rate is also overall very low, which makes it even more challenging (in the wrong way). The experience system works like this: if you kill one enemy, you get the standard experience for it (which is very little), if you kill two enemies, you get a 1% exp bonus, and a 2% exp bonus for three, etc. It goes on like this forever. But if you return to town (only place to save, stock up on potions/equipment and/or heal yourself) the enemy experience bonus will reset to 0%. So the game basically encourages you to keep fighting somewhere dangerous as much as possible in order to gain massive amounts of experience (which you really, REALLY need to do!). Enemies can be incredibly dangerous (despite being weak), if they hit you in the back, you can die immediately if you aren't on a high enough level. It is a very fun and exciting system, but also very hard and frustrating! Every time you level up, you get bonus points for increasing hp, str, etc... but you can only assign these points in town. So when you're out there fighting, and level up, nothing will happen! You will want to go back and get these points assigned, but if you do, the enemies will give shit exp again! What to do? What to dooo?! It's a constant dilemma. But man, is it addictive! PS: You can "pause" your game when you quit it. So you don't need to go back to town and save when you want to stop playing. If you can stand the terrible buttons of the N-Gage, and the poor frame rate, this game can be a lot of fun!

...Xanadu Next sounds interesting and incredibly irritating all at the same time. Atleast this N-Gage one does. I'm sure hearing the same music non-stop is bound to drive me insane. But the battle and leveling up system sounds incredibly fun! Endless playing! I feel half tempted to go for the PC version now, if only for the music. Buuut... I like to understand what's happening in games, even if the story has pretty much no impact on the actual playing! Methinks I shall look into this some more!

Here is the plot of Xanadu Next on the PC: -Main character and cute girl show up -MC gets cursed -MC looks for way to get uncursed -Greatness ensues -Girl makes lunches for MC That was funny. XD Though after the first line I actually expected 'CG gets cursed. MC looks for a way to get her uncursed'! Poor guy! He gets cursed and has to look for an un-curse himself! Lazy girl!!! ....I thought I might check in the phone shops since I'm sure I saw a copy more almost... 3 years back? :'D (HEY! PC version is available at Play-Asia?! Hmmmmmmmmmm.......! Oh! Its a limited edition!! Is anything extra there in the LE? [and here I thought I'd keep an eye on the adoru shop! This be better! (Speaking of which, hey adoru, you haven't recieved the nunuu books and shipped them by any chance, have you?)])

On the way/preordered: Thunder Force VI (PS2) Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm (PS3) Motorstorm Pacific Rift (PS3) Resistance 2 (PS3)
...and I'm trying to resist the urge to pick up Fallout 3 on 360.
I just bought half a dozen new games in the last couple weeks, no friggin' clue how I'll have time for them all.

Since I am so so easy to convince, Xanadu Next has been added to my 'soon to buy list'. I think... I'll look around a bit for the N-Gage version first, if only because I'll be able to understand what is happening. (I MUST know the story to fully enjoy anything! Merely fighting battles is just not enough.) And if I can't find, then I shall let madness overtake me and order the LE! (...I think) [Either way I guess I'll keep an eye on the adouru(u) shop (thank you!). Though I might just go for the Play-Asia copy since I will be ordering stuffs from there late november and shipping will be... cheap. :'D (Actually not really... considering the way the prices are rising X( )]

But anyways i have a Wiz ordered and Sora no Kiseki PSP box set. and debating should i get the Trigger Heart Excelia Limited Edition for Ps2. The Nendoroid is really tempting..
