Well, it's pretty simple.
In all Ys III games, you can find a chest in the last dungeon and that chest contains an item in which if you die while equipped with it, you will ressurect ONCE. This item can be bought in the shop for an absurd price too.
In YsF, that item is also available in the shop for 60000 Gold. When you buy it once, the price will double. Anyway, when I went in the last dungeon filled with the skeletons and stuff, I think I opened every chest. My inventory and equip menu were complete. But I didn't find that revival item, unlike the Ys IIIs.
Is that item somewhere in the last dungeon? And where?

Also, about the life-up elixirs... The maximum amount you can carry is 9. What happens if there's a chest with one and you open it, but you already have 9 of the item?
When I was in the last dungeon, I already had 9 of them. And it was the ONLY dungeon in the game in which I didn't find a single elixir, though I found lots of Ore. I wonder if the elixir becomes ores...

I don't know the answers, but...why would you stock up 9 of the life-up elixirs? Those things permanently raise your max HP, right? Do they raise it different amounts based on your current level? Because I always figured they didn't -- that they always raised it a fixed amount. So, I use them as soon as I get them.

Thanks for clearing things up guys. I stocked the elixirs... for no reason at all. xD In my case, I usually keep them and I only use them when there's some boss that REALLY can't be defeated... on normal it all was just about having patience, but I think I'll be using those a lot in the higher difficulties. I didn't intend to use them (on Normal) because I've wanted to "train" for the bosses in the higher difficulty settings. Not sure if that makes any big difference though. Yes, the enemies indeed drop the Ore latter. I was just curious if the chests that had Elixirs would have Ore instead when you are carrying 9 of them. ... I'll be checking that out on my next playthrough...
