I recently got my hands on the CD of Brandish IV, another fabulous (or so I heard) RPG from Falcom. So far from what I searched in the web, I heard about multiple endings, hellish puzzles, and no connection to other games of the series (which is a relief since I can't find other games). Does anyone know any website or resource from which I can know more about this game? Any review or walkthrough website link would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck. I barely got anywhere when I played as the elf girl, or the whip guy. It stumped me pretty hard, considering that the earlier games really aren't all that difficult. I mostly just chalked it up to me not understanding the hint tiles. Curiously, none of the other-obsessive Japanese site cover this one at all.

Seems like most Brandish fans don't like this one. I couldn't get anywhere in this game, not even past the first dungeon! I never got out of that prison when they drag you back in again (after you've gotten to explore a couple of rooms). All I could do was to talk to the other prisoners.

Hudson made Faxanadu. Falcom had absolutely nothing to do with it. The Brandish series is awesome, but is very hard to get into.

As have I...
but I'm looking to try out Xanadu or Gurumin or something, given the chance. Hopefully some Falcom games will make it to Wii's VC.

Thanks for the info provided. I just found the Korean walkthrough website yesterday. Although I can mostly guess where I need to go, I will have to ask my Korean roommate to translate some of this to me. Man, this game reminds me of Simon's Quest. Without the walkthrough, this is impossible to play...
