This album rocks! These fan based albums can turn out great. Ys baroque is still my favorite fanbased album.

Yeah I think they did an awesome job with it too. I have bought a lot of these type albums in the last few weeks, and there is always something on there that I like. It's too bad there's nothing from Legend of Xanadu II on there.

Hey gamemusicfreak, can you recommend any other doujin albums thats on par with KLEENE and Ys Baroque?

Two of my favorites are by the same people that did Baroque: Hellion Sounds Wayfarer (Saga series) The Sentence of Death (Final Fantasy) I love those CDs, they are done similar to Baroque.
Another really nice one is Final Fantasy I-III Super Famicom style mix, by JM's Home, aka JM Midi. You get the best of FF I-III, and they really do sound like they are from the Super NES.
I just bought eight more doujin soundtracks, but most of them are Final Fantasy and Mana, with very little Falcom stuff. They aren't as good as the aforementioned though.

Thanks, I'm going to get The Sentence of Death. I stumbled upon this page: www2.odn.ne.jp/puchi/html/woodsoft.htmlMe thinks there be some good stuff on here! Oh ya, track 3 on KLEENE is so freakin bad ass. I think its just as good as any Ys music track if not better.

The first three on that site are very good, I did manage to get those a while back. The others, I wish I could get. Man, some of them are hard to find. Thanks for posting that page.

The takahashi albums are quite nice. Its great hearing the soldier blade and super star soldier tracks. A bit of taste of what the music would of sound like if those games made it to CD ROM format.

I forgot, if you want more Legend of Xanadu, the following CDs are a must if you haven't heard them. Now they are harder to find, but well worth it. Legend of Xanadu JDK Special Legend of Xanadu Super Arrange Version Legend of Xanadu Super Arrange Version (Falcom Special Box '94, completely different from the other Super Arrange) JDK Band 4: Ys IV vs. Legend of Xanadu
These are the most incredible arrangements of LoX music ever.

Mostly remixes of Soldier Blade and Super Star Soldier (which is a good thing). Theres also Dungeon Explorer, Legend of Heroes II, Legend of Xanadu, Magical chase, Super Raiden, and a couple others. Great album!
I didnt realize Falcom Special Box 94 Legend of Xanadu super arrange was different from the other super arrange. Thanks

Sheesh, I seriously, should start making my own Takahashi albums! But there's so many damn songs I'd love to redo, I don't know where I'd start

I would LOVE to hear a new version of "Brave of Blaze" from LoX II.

There are many songs I'd love to someday redo, from LOX2, especially since no one else has ever redone any of those songs, with the exception of a few songs by Falcom, that I think are on the LOX2 OST.
