I'm glad they finally translated these. The only ones I had seen before were straight Japanese copies I rented from a Japanese video store many, many years ago. They even kept the wonderful Rie Sugimoto music video and the JDK Band footage, which was awesome for me, someone who constantly listens to those JDK Band albums.

Great, hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy them. For the most part, I think these are pretty well done, especially the Ys II. They are getting a little age on them though, but what's wrong with that?

Hi. My name is the Captain. And I like music.
I got my own question about the Ys Anime, where did the music in it originate from? It sounds like it was based off one of the earlier releases; and I know I heard the Tower of Darm theme in it.
I ask with a specific reason in mind: I wanna find the ending theme. Because it's pretty =(

You can find it, plus the albums for the Ys II anime, on Deuce's site.Edit: As far as the Ys I anime goes... that's a different soundtrack. I can't recall right off the back, I think it was Dramatic Symphony. There were also some tracks released on one of the Falcom Special Boxes.

Also, The Last Moment of Darkness was from the Ys Symphony '95 album. But just like some of us said, that is one hell of an endless search to complete (no offense)

I love the bloopers, especially on Disk 2. Nothing beats Dark Fact as a hippie.

I hate the bloopers for two reasons:
1. I hate bloopers. 2. They aren't bloopers! They say the wrong things intentionally!

NEIN!
The best of bloopers come from Berserk, when the random silver-haired bishonen's VA randomly breaks into song. Should you continue to disagree, there shall be some serious fisticuffs!
I sorta agree with Seldane, bloopers have the potential to be very bad and painful. But a witty VA can have fun with it.

I know this is pretty old, but I think I'll add some of my favorite bloopers. It's from the anime Samurai Deeper Kyo. Kyo is telling Yuya how he took control of the body he was in and Kyoshiro, the real owner of the body, lay dormant facing all of his sins. He ended the speech with something like "Now doesn't that just suck for him."
And in K.O. beast.
"You maniacs! You blew it all up! Damn you all to hell!!!!!!"
Man, that turtle was freaking out.
