The very first manga I think I've read was... Sailor Moon. Though it wasn't 100% Authentic Manga. Then I started getting into the Peach Girl Series. Here's what I have: Peach Girl Wild Act Gravitation DN Angel Yu-Gi-Oh! Brigadoon Tokyo Mew Mew Kingdom Hearts Fake Chobits

My first one was Guyver. It's one of my top favorites of all time, because I just can't seem to get into a majority of them anymore. I am a comic book collector, so I have a big affection for manga. I have read and collected many over the years, including: Grey Dragon Ball (Z) Tenchi Inu Yasha Gon One Pound Gospel You're Under Arrest Neon Genesis Evangelion Shadow Lady Drakuun 3X3 Eyes Masked Warrior X Mega Man Spirit of Wonder Chronowar Metal Guardian Faust Presently, the only one I buy is Beet the Vandel Buster.

My very first manga EVER? Uh... hm, I think it was Oh My Goddess! ...back when Dark Horse published those teeny one/two chapter issues. Nowadays my manga collection is just... *glancing behind* ...sick. I have an inventory list I have to constantly update or I can barely keep track of what volume of what series I have next time I go shopping. @_@;;;; Some current favorites include Hana-Kimi, Death Note, and Please Save My Earth.

I've been wanting to check out Shadow Lady too
the concept of that "magic eye shadow" thing is what interests me.
Hmmmm.... maybe I should check it out I've already read I's and Video Girl Ai and loved em
And they put ur drawing in there eh? Sweet!!
Masakazu Katsura is one of the artists I'm studying with his incredible attention to detail (not to mention his super cute girls!!). And to see how far his style has gone in Zetman....
I gotta work harder^^

Hehe, it's a very old, crude drawing from 1998, but at the time I was very happy. Maybe I'll post it. It's in Shadow Lady: Dangerous Love #6.

Naruto/Bleach are actually the only two I've ever read, so it would have been one of those (most likely Naruto).

First manga I ever read was Magic Knight Rayearth. I saw the anime, and decided to check out the manga. I really don't care for Clamp. I love the anime versions (except Chobits, the manga was way better than the anime).
Now I read Fruits Basket, Naruto, Bleach, Boys Be, and a bunch of other stuff. I've finished Kodocha, Gravitation, and other stuff I can't remember. I ditched Tsubasa and XXXholic.

DragonBall was probably my first, 10 (?) years ago. My friend exposing me to Hikaru no Go five or six years ago, however, was what really got me into manga. Hikago still remains as one of my favorites ever, despite how much I didn't like the ending.

My very first manga EVER? Uh... hm, I think it was Oh My Goddess! ...back when Dark Horse published those teeny one/two chapter issues. Ha! Me too, well, in English at least. I had a bunch of untranslated Dragon Quest manga I picked up as a curiosity for cheap in a comic store on Long Island when I was a kid. Always had a soft spot for collecting DQ junk, I'm surprised it hasn't bit me in the ass harder in recent years. When I think of the giant plush slimes I could buy... Yep, moving on before this gets dangerous. I used to pick those up and the single issues of Blade of the Immortal. Such good stuff! I need to get up to date on BotI, though Dark Horse's prices for those little volumes are still as painful as ever, it seems. Though I tend to do okay every year at Otakon if I look for tables getting rid of stuff cheap! I think that's where the last volumes I got came from. Right now, I'm just waiting for more GTO: The Early Years. The books are so big, but I always tear through them the same day I get them, and then go back through over the next couple of days. 3 can't get here soon enough.

My very first one...was a very old one I got handed back when I worked in a little comic/hobby store. Y'know..back before the days of these lovely novel versions we get now. It was called Kamui I think- it was fairly old even back then. It was a historical drama about the ninja clans and a survivor of the attempts of the samurai and government to wipe them out- not one of those hoppychop fantasy ninja stories. I've long since lost the issues I had- they were in bad shape anyway, hence why they were just given to me- but I'd like to find it again one of these days.
