Why do you link to your own profile? Anyway, here's your old post: OK, I managed to a copy of Ys I & II Complete (CD-ROM version), did a full installation (Windows XP), but when I start the game, I lose sound when the opening cutscene starts when I begin a new game. however, when I save a game & load it, I get sound. Does anyone know how to fix this bug at all? PS... Just ahead of time, I'm using onboard audio instead of a sound card if that helps. And I don't have a clue on how to fix that, sorry.

Solved the problem! Onboard audio drives needed updating.
