hi nobody answer to the others post so i make a thread here does somebody encounter some problems woth Ys II eternal on pc espcecially with the music ( no music only the game fx like a door opening) and 'im unable to load a game previously saved if someone could help me thanx much bilal

AHAH Burn, baby burn ! Huh? Anyway, I encountered the problem myself. But I fixed it. You should select wave music in the options. Then, check the Ys eternal folder, and check the Wave folder in there. If there's a folder called Wave_22, then use this program to change the sound quality to 22KHz, and if there's a folder called Wave_44, then use that program to change it to 44,1KHz. You can not use 44,1KHz if the folder is called Wave_22.

sorry guy but there's no folder with 22khz or 44khz in the main folder after the installation as i said i've got the cd-rom version not the dvd is there a way to have the ys2_cnf.exe in english ? and after patching the game with YsII(Pc-us) a dos windows appears and said that YSE_CNF.exe was not found in the current folder i can't find that file ......pffffff sorry guys i don't want to bother you with my problems but i really want to make this game running properly and fix the problem with loading a game (still impossible to load a previously saved game)

ok thanx to you seldane and you too Gillian !! i burned the cd game abd now the music sounds perfectly but still the problem with the save...

You have to change your regional settings to japanese to load a game. Either that, or start a new game, die, and choose continue from last save.

Actually, if you install the english patch, you will not need to set the settings to japanese. You don't need the playdisc inserted either.
