I can't deny that it really looks fun, but I'm extremely skeptical seeing as how terrible Ys IV was ....
I'm sort of looking forward to this one, though.

Out of all the package designs, I like this one the best. Taito pretty much stuck to the same musical style in Ys III & IV, so they might just try to unify all of them by keeping it the same style in this one too. I don't think that was intended, I think it was because they are incompetent. It's more like they took the original notations and plugged them through their sound device. In other news, I'm a bit surprised they put Dogi back in.

How about those preorder goodies? Or were they preorder goodies? Anyway, how do you get ahold of that towel and the music box?

wow...this game looks exactly like Ys 4 new theory. well maybe a little better gameplay graphics with the sword .....sigh....Taito, when will you ever learn. Hopefully it will be fun (my hopes are unrealistically high). I did enjoyed the last part of Ys 4 a new theory though.

I get the feeling that there aren't any preorder goodies

I think that is the case, only the limited Taito Ys III had the box and the sample CD, which only had six tracks.

Oh I see, you can't buy them. Okay, then it's impossible to get them. Ten music boxes. Ha ha ha. Good luck. S'pose some towels will appear on Yahoo Japan though.

I'm gonna try to get my hands on a set of those, and if I do, maybe we can have some kind of giveaway to a lucky member.

I was wondering when they were going to get around to that. At least ED VI will come out from Falcom before then and we will have something awesome to play until this one comes out.

Personal Opinion but, it doesn't look better than MOTS A New Theory.

Yeah, it pretty much looks exactly the same as the Ys IV. That is why I'm hoping they at least changed the style of music to fit the way the original sounded.

Yeah, this looks kind of familiar...in an "infamous" sort of way. I'm not much for console Ys, but I do hope it'll be good nonetheless.

As far as this thing goes I still am primarily interested in how the music will sound.
