Alright everyone, I have a confusing question, soooo...listen please ^.^! Alright, here's my scenerio. A while back..maybe two months ago or so, I rented Ys: Ark of Napishtim for my american PS2. I beat it on Normal difficulty and started a game on Nightmare, just getting past the first boss. Well, I have imported Ys I and II: Eternal Story, Ys III, and I will be getting Ys IV: Mask of the Sun soon, then..HOPEFULLY..if they go as planned, Ys V will be shipped during December, soooo..my question is...should I import Ys VI for my Japanese PS2 or get it for my american one? I have data for the american version, but I don't remember if Nightmare was already unlocked as a choice at the beginning or you had to beat it once to unlock it. Also, I would like to see another domestic Ys release for PS2, so that would be another reason to buy the american version, but doesn't it seem really silly that I would have like, I-V on my Japanese PS2, then have VI on my american PS2, rather than importing it as well? I wouldn't mind starting over if I imported it, but I just don't think I'd really wanna start back over on Normal or Hard and beat it once to unlock Nightmare, so...what do you guys think? Please feel free to give any suggestions! Thank you!

oh .. I'm not much for consoles, just had to have to buy it for Ys 6. Probably sell my PS2 as soon as I beat it. But I was told that the PC version didn't have English. So that's why I was asking.
And I'm willing to bet you could find a game save that has nightmare unlocked on the net somwhere. I'm fairly certain you could then transfer it via PS2s network adapter, at least that's the only practical use I could think for it.

The PS2 version has a considerable number of differences than the PC version.
I've got a PS on hand and I've been enjoying Katamari Damacy, Disgaea and more.
