Yeah I don't know why they even bother to keep putting out release dates. Why not just go ahead and cancel it, like will most likely happen anyway, or at least stop making so many consecutive promises and then breaking them. Is that some sort of technique to hold our interest? It's just making fans mad. I'm pretty sure I don't even want it anymore after all this nonsense.

Didn't they delay Ys VI when it was coming out on the ps2....maybe I'm thinking of a different game.

Didn't they delay Ys VI when it was coming out on the ps2....maybe I'm thinking of a different game. And I'm not talking other companies releasing Falcom products, like Konami with Ys VI here... Konami is behind the PS2/PSP ports of YsVI. The European PS2 port has been delayed 5-6 months so far, and I'd be SURPRISED if it WASN'T delayed more than that. I can assure you it WON'T be released the 16th of September, which is the latest scheduled release date. Scumbags, they're really pushing their luck with this! (I won't buy the PAL version -- I couldn't wait anymore, so I imported the US version.)

Oh that's right. I forgot about Konami being behind the PS2 version. *slaps forehead*

bah, it'll probably be the best game on psp other than luminous and virtual tennis, and less than a handfilled of others @_@ Anyways, i heard that for the Psp version they aren't using those bulky 3D models that were in the ps2 version, but the original 2D models, like the PC...

I wouldn't mind seeing that =D It was weird playing Ys VI for me...since I wasn't use to the 3-D world yet. I wasn't dissapointed with Ys VI though =D

I'd much prefer to see the 2D sprites. The 3D models we're so still and unexpressive.

Yeah, I know! You couldn't see any detail on them worth a damn! If I wanted DETAILED graphics, I'd definately go for the sprites. Even Ys V's Adol looked more like Adol than the PS2 VI's Adol. =( and Ys V's didn't really have RED hair either. >.<;; It looked more brown I agree, I was upset I couldn't even see Adol's face in the PS2 version. I do have to say at least they released it and translated it though. No other company stepped forward. I hope they release Ys The Oath in Felghana as well, just hope they don't change anything..

i would love to play this game in english, but i can see i will be waiting a long time no matter what. i really do not want to pick up a PS-2 for that version now so i will have to wait for the usa psp release, because i do not want to get the japanese version of the game. i already have the offical PC versions in japanese and i really want a usa version.
