You telling me that something like this was done alredy? =P This isn't a hack btw. Meaning, you didn't just get lucky and change one byte or more that causes the game to think the townspeople are enemies and suitable for attack. The probability of gettting that lucky is slim to none if you think about it. Rather, Falcom purposely put in a memory protection system whereas if you're looking to cheat by finding where say EXP/GOLD is stored to increase it, any change anywhere in that region will cause "massacre mode" to be turned on, plus you will not be able to save the game thereafter. So yeah, basically, it was done purposefully to prevent cheating with memory editors. But i did hack some things and the game was fine, i could save and all, like HP Seeds, but there was one minus after that, i didnt get eny unlockables after i beat it once more. Yah they got a good protection there...but nothin is ideal

Did you try all the links they provided? All I can say is last night all I could get was sound, and after I downloaded ffdshow this morning I had no further problems. Maybe you can try opening the video in an alternate media player.

Video works fine, just have to find the right codecs. Since I always have to update codecs for fansubs, I didn't have any issue playing it. Though I'm afraid the joke is lost on me. It appeared to be a Japanese version of the game in English, bout it. I'm guessing that is the hack. edit: Some of you may want to try installing this codec pack. www.cccp-project.net/

The thing is that it ends in the middle on 32 second >.<, i tried downloading it 2 times alredy, it might be codec too? I have no hard time playing it, only this.
*Edited* Oke~ i got it working, so let me ask one thing... Where is the proof that this is not the PS2 verison? Recording a video from it is not a problem.

Just download VLC Media Player. It includes all codecs, you don't need to install anything. It's a great program! www.videolan.com
