I wonder if you meant penguins as domestic animals like picard or as people... It would be funny to see hybrids between penguin and people. As for Aztecs and Mayans, I thought the temple of the sun somewhat resembled a mayan temple when I first saw it in Dawn of Ys. Perhaps, that may be a connection between Eldeen civilization and reality. It wouldn't be funny, it'd be creepy. ._.~ And yes, I meant as animal friends like the Roos or something. And it might be that the winged civilization is from the Mexico area??? :O However, I find that the reliefs and such found in Napishtim resemble more of Greek origin. And I think Ys II had a relief at the beginning of the Eternal/Complete intro too~?

Oh come on, I thought the Rheda tribe was a good mix between people and animals with pointy ears and tails. I am all in for a penguin man (although I still haven't made a clear image of how he or she would look like -_- .

Yeah but they weren't based on birds. :B The thought of people possibly having beaks and waddling isn't a very ... attractive thought. ^^ Oh, and sliding on their tummies.

Come to think of it, that might be sign of a disaster if the village of "those penguins" exists in Ys world. The players would definitely know there is a problem there. Now only if we can add in the village of "batmans" and an evil clown as a villain...

I think in all likelihood, Adol's next adventure will probably take place in the Western hemisphere- something with the Aztec/Mayan culture sounds in order. I don't know how much of the Eldeen we'll be seeing from here on out though, and I'd not be all that surpised if the next story broke away from that Eldeen arc. Ys VI did a wonderful job of tying everything prior to this together, but it also could be so that it could wrap the Eldeen story up too.
His adventures to the Arctic look promsing (alas, no penguins there) and would probably constitute a game in and of itself. I'm hoping something in the Romun Heartland in the near future (Adol is captured and brought back- I'd also imagine seeing some gladiatorial style matches/combat), and finally, I'd wager good money that Adol will have some adventures in the Orient, though what shape that'll take I don't know.

Personally, I'd love to see Adol work with the Romuns. This would of course presume the Romuns are not all bad =[
Also, I would be interested in seeing a storyline that has nothing to do with the ancients at all, nor with anyone unintentionally copying their works. A storyline that is entirely modern to the setting, so to speak.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if Falcom decides to make more games like Ys Origin where unexplained details are shown for awhile. I hope they give more insights to rise and fall of Eldeen civilization, emelas, and those Galba beasts. Does anyone think that Adol may end up in Asian countries? It would be hilarious (and cool) to see Adol using chi power, katanas, or brush strikes. You never know how bad Adol's luck with boats can be.

Well, he's been in Ferghana, which is pretty Asian.

Demons got too lazy to repair the tower. So they let all sands, lava, and water leak out while fixing one lousy pillar. Simple, right?

Apparently Adol, Dogi, and Chester dislike internet acronyms. Look at the things they do if you use them!
