Vert! This is PixyJunket from VGM. So, no Adol, eh? I bet he'll be a hidden chracter after you beat all 16 difficulty levels in a true Falcom fashion. Maybe they'll even make a silly alternate story when you play as him.

Well, since it's 700 years in the past that can only mean:
NO LILIA! YAY!
*celebrates*

I like Lilia. Elena, on the other hand.

Terra might possibly be my favorite Ys character ever.

I disagree. I think Isha and Olha are the most uninteresting characters I have ever seen. In ANY game. Pretty much. I do love their voices in Ys VI for PS2, though (the English voices, of course!). Awesome accent.

The demons erected a tower to reach solomon shrine. I love this story. It makes perfect sense now why darm tower exists. Thanks for the translation Deuce.

I like Karna a lot, especially in the Dawn of Ys. It sounds like you can play through the full Ys Origin with each character. If so that's a great idea, like two games in one.

By the way - looks like we will be playing some talking characters in this game. That's a first! (Sort of.)

Can't wait to get my hands on this one... ^__^ Hee hee! And what perfect timing, too--I'll be getting off for winter break from college AND taking a week off work for the holidays. That whole week is guaranteed to be spent glued to the computer and this game, so help me. ; ...And relating to earlier conversation... um.. ^.^; Elena wins! Lilia's cute and all, but she bugs me for some reason..... (Bah, actually I like all of Adol's harem, really.) ..bah, mostly I just adore Chester. ^_^v ...except for when he kicked poor Adol down that hole. -_-; That volcano was incredibly annoying, thank you VERY much... Ahem! Anyway, I AM curious to see how/if the two sides of the story will intertwine... the fact you have two heroes to noodle around with essentially doubles the overall playtime and replay value of the game, which is nice. Way to go Falcom. Keep making your games MORE addicting, why dontcha? =P

Actually, in Felghana, I thought that was one of the coolest stages of the bunch! The music in that part also added to how awesome it was!

Actually, in Felghana, I thought that was one of the coolest stages of the bunch! Next to Valestein Castle, it was probably my second-favorite area, solely because of all the cool lava-running, and those bugs that swarmed on you, but could be UTTERLY OBLITERATED with the wind bangle. Plus, it had cool bosses, and lots of fun little hidden thingies to find. ...Okay, I grant you that. Frisbeeing through those little bugs was highly gratifying. ^_^; I had trouble with some of the jumping though, and FREQUENTLY fell because I sucked. My friends who I talked to on Skype while playing could attest to it... because every time I dropped came a snarl of "RAWRR! Hate you, Chester!!! " I'm sort of replaying it now while I eagerly await Origin.... Waaaant. Iiiiit. Once again, Elena for the win.edit- Grandia II was great fun! ^_^ Get it!

I just have yet to play through it, thanks to my nasty habit of getting two or three games at once, and then dilly-dallying on playing any of them... my backlog of games to play is enormous. Same here. xD LOL both of you are lucky you can still play a stack of games... my wrists give me problems when i play games too much. Same here too. xD Though it doesn't happen to me that much. It usually happens when I keep overplaying or something similar. xD Even so I keep playing! (but less)

I've been watching it at least once a day myself. I am very happy to see Falcom music retain it's old style flair, concentrating on the strong, memorable compostitions and melodies.
