OMG!!!!! How wild is THAT In a way this post is a bad thing because it's just made the wait a bit more painful. Watching these clips I'd say that I'm glad I put off buying a new video card, because I'll be out for one of the most powerful cards around to drive this thing at full frame rates!

This game is going to rule! I am so glad to hear more violin stuff too. Looks like the Feena music is making a comeback as well. And welcome Haibara! Thanks for the post!

Ok, now I'm begining to think there are more characters you can play as, unless I missed something discussed already? There's no way that the guy with the claws, & silver hair, is Jugo Fact. And many screens show you playing as him.
Also of note, it looks like there are 3 bad priests or whatever, kind of like in Ys 4, maybe they get things started?
Also, I'm begining to wonder, if you have to play thru with each character, to truly seal Darm away.

Why is there a short french phrase "__ ___, il y a un __ groupe _____ legendaire" at the beginning? I couldn't catch the words that are ___, and I don't know why I'm hearing a German word "ein" before "groupe"... Is it just me?

That third story is probably something like Ada's story from RE4. I would love to play the game and see it myself!

Wow....just wow...Incredible vid. Also, the beginning of the vid is spoken in German indeed....or at least that's what I think. It sounded pretty much like "Gelman" (like "Engrish" ) to me. But I don't understand "Gelman" very well. That claws guy...another new char...maybe there are more playable chars to come? Also welcome haibara.

Finally got to see it. It's nice to hear the violin and guitar work in the music. It blows away the first trailer.

Ok, here's my theories on The Claw! He's either Dark Fact or possibly Darm or Dalles. Thus proving that the they originally were human who became greedy & corrupt! Now, I always hear that Dark Fact, came 700 year later. First, where was that from? And 2nd, maybe Falcom changes that with this, kind of like they changed a few things in YsF. Or, maybe he didn't become Dark Fact, until 700 years later.
I mean, I might as well speculate, I already called that the game was going to be a prequal to Ys 1, & I was right, so, who thinks I'm right on my new theory?

My English is not quite good. Please forgive my poor English. ^^
My friend translated the information of the official website. It's very interesting that YSO has three stories. We'll control each main character from beginning to end. If you want to control other characters, you have to play the game twice or three times.
At the beginning of the game, you can choose one character between Yunica and Hugo. When both of the two stories are completed, the third story will be shown, and you can control the Claw. It's just like some kinds of galgames.
BTW, the Claw is the enemy of other two characters.
Maybe my expression is not clear, please forgive me. ^^

Third optional character. That just bumped up the replay value. I noticed the quick scene of the two heads boss battle looks very familiar from one of the Ys games. I wanna play this game just to witness the scenery as your on the outside of darm tower. The scenery will change as you progress farther up the tower. Probably starts off daytime then gets darker as you go farther up.
