So far, I've come across two things I'm puzzled about:
1) ハードレガース (HA-DO REGA-SU) I just translated that as Hard Shin Guards but where does REGA-SU come from? Like what language is it a transliteration of (assuming it is that).
2) 紫電の戦槌 (shiden no sentsuchi) I dropped the purple cuz it sounded goofy so I have it as War Hammer of Lightning. I just want to know what the significance of *purple* lightning is. :/
Erm, if no one objects, I'll probably end up asking about some more things as I progress through the game. ^^;

Purple lightning is awesome, and it looks pretty damn strong to me. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen it mentioned in a game either, Grandia 2 had a move called 'Purple Lightning' too.

Leggers!? Oh lord. I would have NEVER guessed that. ^O^ Thanks~! I don't know if I want to change shin guards but I guess I can mention the literal word. :/
And haha~ The image of the purple lightning. ^o^~ Well, I suppose I can keep the awesomeness of this type of lightning in my translation. Hirm.

"Regaazu" is their borrowed word for "Leg Guards." Literally. Not "leggers" or "leggings." In Langrisser they use "regu ga-da-", so I was always thought that was what was used for Leg Guard/Leg Guarder.

"Regaazu" is their borrowed word for "Leg Guards." Literally. Not "leggers" or "leggings." But leggers is such a fun word.

Oh, wow. I can't believe I missed that... I was definitely under the impression that it was supposed to be "leggers". (: -Tom They could have subsititued the SU for a DO, couldn't they? TT It would have helped so we didn't have to make up words. >:( Guess I'll drop the shin and put in the leg then. Also, for Hugo's Chain Cloth, is there any other way to write that? Chain Cloth sounds BIZARRE to me. It looks to be a chain mail-esque vest other a robe. Ah! Nevermind! Just spotted the translated inventory list thread!
