Just a severely pointless observation:
There are two parts in the dungeon (well, that I tested. I didn't turn it on until late just for kicks) where you HAVE to fall through holes to get to certain chests.
For people playing the game for the first time, they won't know that. :(((
So the moral of this is -- if it's your first time through an area, DO NOT turn the NotFall option on. Instead, deliberately dive into holes!

Hmm I dunno in the other game I played I jumped down from a cliff in a volcano and was charged by 1 million small monsters that litterly teared me apart. >.> Till I got more powerfull and started to kill them. But thanks for the tip and I'll most likely turn it off.

I appear to be unaware of the NotFall option in Origin. In OiF, it was useful in many places where you only had little space to do anything else, and you had to fight. Either way, I never play with NotFall on. I take it if its in Origin, then its the same key to activate it as in Oath. F1.

Memories of Felghana fading ... although I do remember that part! :P But yeah, the NotFall is a bit different in Ys Origin since unlike Felghana where they place Adol back in a reasonable spot, Origin shoves him further back from where he fell. >_>
