Vurez, you're here too? I must thank you for the awesome "Tension on Darm Tower". Its the best remix ive ever heard.. been listening to it for a while now, and I tend to like Guitar Remixes more than anything (before I heard it, my fave was a SF2 vega guitar remix). If theres anything i can say that i dont like about Tension on Darm Tower, it'd be the end... too abrupt (like some ppl have comented on that site) I truely love good VG music, cuz it's one of my prime inspirations for video game ideas... and you're remix realy inspired sorry, i have no links to contribute, but ill share once i find one Thanks. Keep an eye out - more will be on the way

I finally added the new version of my Ys VI "Thrashing Through Grana-Vallis" mix to my site. It's much different than the version I uploaded to vgmix in late 2004. I updated it in 2005, and I recently remastered it so this is the new 2006 version. You can get it here: www.vurez.com/arrangements

Curious, though, you don't have either your Tension or Dreaming remixes up.

The Grana-Vallis reminds me of the PC Engine Ys style, you struck gold with that. I have to say again, well done.

Quick question before I start diving into all those. Do any of them have the song played on Reah/Lair's Silver harmonica? A remixed live version is more than enough if it sounds close to the original in the games. I can't seem to find it anywhere to listen to and to my knowledge its not in my install folders. If it is, its hiding from me, not that that's hard to do.

If you mean the oh so overplayed familiar "Feena" theme, I didn't hear any in those mixes.

Eeek! Double post!! XD I shall burn forevermore. Anyway, I was actually googling for Ys fanart, but wound up finding a page with some remixes instead. And by "some" I mean a heck of a lot. members3.tsukaeru.net/muroi/hagane/music.htmlThe mp3 samples are somewhat poor on the bitrate, but I suspect (because I'm too lazy right now to try to read the Japanese) that means there's a doujin CD out there somewhere. Still, who cares? XD They did a mix of Silent Desert.

No, I'm pretty sure these guys don't have an album out. This sounds like fairly common SC-88 stuff. I find things like this all the time. Still, it's something! Good find!

That's a pity, since the samples come out a little crackly with the low bitrate. I haven't listened to everything on the page, but quite a bit of it's pretty decent. Scars of the Divine Wing sounds horrifically off-key at parts, though. :-\
