Hi, the name is Insanicus. Im a big fan of Ys, and these recent announcements have made me piss my pants in excitement, and I am not the only one soiling myself here But I have a sad tale to tell... I have played the Ys games since the days of Turbo Graphx, enjoying the wonderful story and never-ending glory of what is Ys. But I was never able to get my hands on Ys I and II Eternal Complete... and now I am at a loss (i also have a lot of debt, parents mostly). I can not import the newest re releasals... does anyone know were I can download or acquire these two games for the PC? Please help a fellow Adol (god challenging, monster OWNING) fan

Hmm, you know, people might not like your question there, although, I completely understand. The games MUST be achieved one way or another.... But I do not know where you can download them, however, in the downloads section, you will be able to recieve other Ys releated stuff, which will be very nice. Just wait 'til I open up that place, OK? Another thing, you DO know that Ys 1-2 complete is just renewed versions of the old Turbo duo/MSX/Sega/Nintendo/X8k/X1/whatever versions of Ys.... Didn't you play Ys IV, V, and the new, amazing, Ys VI. Just to give you a little news, short, you can read more of it in the threads around here. Anyway: Ys VI: The ark of Napishtim was released in September 27, 2003. Konami bought worldwide rights for the great game, planning to release it, worldwide, in English! Falcom are also working on a MMORPG (I think) Ys game, using the Ys VI engine, with online possibilities in Korea and Japan, and if it goes well, we may very well see it here. Falcom is also planning on making a new, portable console, and port ALL released Ys games, AND MORE for that console sometime in the beginning of 2005. (Almost had ya there, huh?? Chill down, it was just a joke). Well, that is some of the news that has happened. I sure hope there will be a lot more to come.... And oh, Eiyuu densetsu VI, a.k.a. Dragon slayer: The legend of heroes 6, is to be released, most likely in March, or April, that'll also be something to look forward to! Another thing, Ys 1-2 complete is $69 each, at shop.himeya.com. That's not too bad..?
