I just finished episode 8 and I am totally sucked in. I wish I didn't have to work tonight, as I am in the mood to watch this all night. I don't know what it is : The onset of a new war between all of Earth and Plant, the eerie similarities with the new masked guy and Muu la Flaga's voice actor, and the same with Rey Za Burrel's voice and Rau Le Creuset. Seeing all the old characters again, but in different situations, and really the only disappointments I have seen so far, is really crappy Gundams.... Impulse is very much like Strike, and the other 3 are kinda bla too. What really sparked my interest was the new Zaku series!!! its nice to see them back again for sure.

Reading Double Arts. It's probably one of the more interesting manga I've come across recently. It's fun! www.onemanga.com/Double_Arts/(I recommend people to get some sort of ad blocking plug-in cuz this site has a lot of ads. I never even realized until I went there with IE7 one day. ^^;;;) Totally not watching anything these days. Not even the news. :O

Bah I was in an OVA mood tonight, so I watched the quick 5 min Gundam Seed: Between the Stars, which was a great little tack on to the ending. It quickly shows what the main characters were up too no long after the big battle at the end, plus it leaves a certain helmet retconned, for plot reasons in Destiny. I am glad it was easy to find, and also very happy they didn't place it at the end of the final episode of Seed. It really wouldn't have fit with the ending, so good job Sunrise.
I also watched Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz for the 3rd time... I always need to re-watch this one because the Wing story was so complex to begin with. I still stand by my opinion, that Gundam Wing has by far the best English dub of all time. I prefer it over the Japanese VO track, and for me thats very rare. The OVA renditions of the 5 gundams plus Talgeese are pretty cool, with Wing Zero being my favorite.
It was great to finally dig into my collection again, because I have a TON of stuff to catch up on watching.

Double Arts is pretty cool, might consider buying the manga.

Got a few things I am currently watching. Naruto (Episode 138 or so) With my friend Dan Haruhi for the second time, first time for Dan and his brother. Higarashi with my friend Myles and another friend Carlton (Episode 6 of second season) Lucky Star (Episode 4) with my friend Myles. Personally, the next show I will probably start up by my lone some will be Black Heaven. As for reading, I am reading quite a few series of manga...though all get put on hold at random times due to volume releases. Top of the list are: Chibi Vampire Lunar Legend Tsukihime Battle Royale (When the ultimates are released, I am a cheap skate.) I don't really download manga, I really enjoy having the books in my hand for some reason. Plus, I just get tired of looking at the computer screen when reading. Probably a side effect of 16 years of use. Having the Battle Royale in hard cover form is definitely a bummer, but it is the price I don't have to pay.

Just finished Gundam Seed Destiny, and I am glad the series ended the way it did. They couldn't have finished it any better, and I would say almost all the plot holes were closed. There is a ton of extra content, that I am going to enjoy coming up here, but I can now officially say that Seed/S-Destiny really was nothing like I thought it would be. I was very weary about it, mostly because most of the characters were really young, but for some reason the series sucked me in. 100 whole episodes of drama, plot twists, action, and Gundams Gundams Gundams

Sounds ominously familiar to me..... Refresh my memory on Hell Girl.

Hmm, I kinda skipped Hell girl. Maybe it's time I tried to "acquire" both seasons... though I highly doubt it is possible now.
But I have to admit, I like the main girl. Japanese doll-like girls in kimono with long straight hair are my favourite character styles.

Hmm, you should watch all of the Tenchi Muyo series before embarking on its spin-offs (ie. Sasami). Then again, Sasami is so deviated from the original series that it might as well be an anime on its own.

The only manga I've read recently is the latest in the FFXII series... it's shockingly bad IMO, but I keep this faint hope that it will improve, which is why I keep buying it -->?I hate Ys?<--
Other than that I have a load of Patlabor and Ushio and Tora to get through (It's still the 90's right? Right?), as well as the Code Age Commanders 3 part set. I did try some more recent manga (Bleach springs to mind) and I just can't be doing with it. I'd be all over Dororo but Tezuka never finished it!
EDIT Where did the "I hate Ys" come from? I didn't type that.

FFXII manga? I've never even heard of that! I started watching .hack//Roots a while back. Around the time I was halfway through the first game actually. And while its not bad at all, I can't seem to find the time to watch regularly. Its incredibly nice so far, though I'm kind of curious about how exactly they'll actually end this, giving it some sort of closure for people who wouldn't be playing the game. And my reading appears to have come to a halt (or is actually just grinding along at a very slow pace). I thought I would start on Violinist of Hamelin today though.

Yeah I have to start watching that series, before I go back and replay the first game. I have the 2 specials as well, so I have a good 3 weeks worth of .hack stuff to get into..... but not right now.
I started Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex last night, and got 2 episodes in. I LOVE IT!! Its a bit lighter than the movie, and the characters are a little more fleshed out. I am excited because now the characters can develop over a ton of episodes, instead of through 90 min. I like the 'monster of the week' aspect, and that opening is DAMN SWEET!

I stumbled across scanlations of Suikoden V Anthology and those were so, so funny, that I just had to mention it here. So I guess that makes up my current reading thing. Though I don't think it'll last beyond tonight. Has anybody else come across these short stories/comics?

Personally; the first one has aged pretty badly, the second still holds up, the third is great, the fourth has good ideas done badly and the fifth is like pulling teeth. I'm generally alone in that opinion however I get pretty tired of the OMG POLYTIKS fans, because it's not the first, last, or necessarily best series to have and antagonist whos reasons go beyond "I is evilz".

Wrydwad, do you like Super robot shows? Then go watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann if you haven't. Some say it's the best anime of 2007. It's also the show that made me hate Gainax.

(HEY! There's a Chrono Trigger manga too?! *ignorant* [Ok... so it says 10 page one shot but meh...! Who cares for length?!]) About Suikoden: The first was nice, but yip, compared to the others, with time, it does seem a bit blah. The second was nicer. The third nicer still (in a different way). And while the fourth's world map drove one insane, if one played it with the side game Rhapsodia, it was still very nice. And lastly, I LOVED the fifth. (and so probably the reason why these little comics are amusing me so much! X'D ) I finished all the chapters. Want moooore...!!

Suikoden 1 - Decent Suikoden 2 - Awesome Suikoden 5 - Awesome
I'll pass on 3 and 4, thanks.
And to answer the topic the only show I'm currently watching is Code Trainwreck... er, Code Geass R2. It is not a good show, it's just an entertaining trainwreck. That's the only reason I'm watching it.
Also, Gurren Lagann is awesome. That is all.
