Am i the only one here that reads/watches Fairy Tail? I would say that is my favorite Shonen anime so far. I was reading Fairy Tail for a while before I gradually gave up on all anime/manga due to lack of time and interest. If Nana ever gets revived maybe I'll read something new again <_< I had made it up to the gratuitously pointless time skip, but hey it is a shounen series so I guess it is contractually obligated to have one.

Nana?? Who´s Nana?? Also, i must admit that the 7 years timeskip was a bit unnecesary (WAY TO LONG) for me............thats it untill i realized the author intention, then everything made sense (Well, Kinda)

Nana is a different, and amazing series. Unfortunately the manga run was cut short when the artist fell ill.

Phantom~Requiem for the Phantom. After 6 episodes, I can say I'm a bit disappointed. It's not bad by any means, but after Saya no Uta, Madoka, and Fate/Zero I really expected more from Gen Urobuchi. It's a really good show, but doesn't feel like a MASTERPIECE, and really doesn't seem to break any new ground as of yet. EDIT: It got better. The first arc felt superfluous and needlessly long because it was entirely dedicated to developing the relationship of characters who didn't develop (dynamic staticism?), effecting sympathy via proximal exposure rather than depth. After that (after Reiji gets his "swag" theme music) it becomes considerably more gripping. But then the third arc seemed to encapsulate very little over a long stretch. Basically, it was an oreo. (and speaking of swag; best fucking posthumous custom title ever! *drinks Dos Equis* ) Just a damn shame some of the (critical) scenes were so FORCED! Seriously, there's contrived, and there's fucking hammed up. ( helloo~ docks chase scene! And the Cal reveal? Can we say "melodrama"? ) But as a whole, great show. Urobuchi-sensei remains golden in mine eyes. //and this doesn't count as posting. I'm not here.

I´m reading The Legend of Zelda manga, Phantom Hourglass volume. One of my wishes come true, at last I´ve got the complete collection of this great videogame. X3
And I´m reading The Three Musketeers book, from Alejandro Dumas. It´s been a long time since a didn´t read a book that I wanted to read at all hours, because It´s a very interesting one, and they talk with a poetic way that I really like.
Raymon: I saw Fairy Tail a few episodes, but it doesn´t really attract me. What I only really like is the music, it´s awesome.

Rewatching Ergo Proxy. As of the first three episodes it's as good as I recall. The middle parts are hazy; just remember some of it bored me, and a few episodes annoyed me (Dinney Land!!!), but we'll see if the good's as good as I remember. I read some troll on another forum say it's pretentious because of the useless intellectual references, and while I admit anything written by Dai Sato is aimed primarily at nerds (why do the mentally challenged always think nerds are pretentious? It's like saying that tall people are trying to make me feel short intentionally. --MP, you pretentious bastard!!! --morons are too fucking insecure [and strangely they think blatant rudeness is kosher, but intellectual superiorty isn't? *DM Flashbaks*]), the same person claims to like Xenosaga. . . .. . . . . ................. when everybody knows Dai Sato is just Soraya Saga with a clip-on penis. (honestly, Saga's [Tanaka's] writings are even more "pretentious" because she doesn't bother elucidating things for those uneducated in the subjects she employs. . . I've encountered scores of people who didn't even realize chaos was Christ or that Kos-Mos was Mary Magdelene--or that gnostic scripture held them as a syzygy. Really, Dai tnds to wrap things up for a more accessible audience. . . which makes him a bit inferior, I think. Hand holding is for babies. *pretentious?* ). . . . but then, trolls are hardly consistent. They troll for the sake of trolling. And they die in fire. Hellfire. Anyway, it's been years since I've seen it, and I've found some really amazing shows since, so I'm yet to see if it's as good as I remember. (I'll laugh my ass off if my Satofanboyism fails me and I find it pretentious. . . )

Kurau Phantom Memory. Boring. I like the characters, but their staticly scripted flight from the GPO gets duller and duller over time. It's not technically a bad show. . . it just doesn't strike me as a good one, either. The last episode I saw (15) made me laugh so hard I coughed blood, though. Don't know what Christmas was thinking; she could have been so much crueler, and had much more fun at that poor kid's expense before it was over. Also, I've picked up Berserk again, to wrap things up. Turns out it gets better again RIGHT after where I dropped it. I'd lost interest because of the 13+ volumes that focused on fighting trolls, and got bored every time I picked it up again, and it turns out that the last time I stopped, over a year ago, was RIGHT before Slan and the Skull Knight show up, and immediately after, Zodd and a new Band of the Hawk make an appearance. And the Berserker Armor! Guess it goes to show that if I had the patience to stick with shit after it turns to shit it might turn great again, and that extends to more than just manga. . . but frankly, analogy intended, Miura should have never wasted my time with several volumes of crap.

Deadman Wonderland Fucking AWESOME! I thought I'd burnt through all the great shows on my HD, as the last few have been merely good or mediocre (I'm so deprived, I actually plan to FINISH Glass Maiden ), and all the shows I was looking forward to have already been watched and deleted. . . but Deadman Wonderland is surprisingly entertaining. Only problem is, it's damn short, and I've already watched half the series in one day. It'll be back to Glass Maiden tomorrow. *suicidal tendencies. . . returning.* Also, the Hummingbird reminded me -intensely- of a certain former member of this forum, but, more importantly Shiro = AWESOME Probably one of my favorite anime characters, and she's so adorable I just want to squeeze and cuddle her.

Hey, hey.. I kinda almost sorta got an Anime that I'm watching. Okay, so it is Japanese live action.. This weekend I watched the first 3 episodes of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (pretty much Power Ranger Space Pirates). I'm loving the stupid cheese level of it all. Even the special effect failures amusing me to no end. All my friends and my girlfriend think it is stupid, though. So Ronery
...and at least you're guaranteed at least 1 choreographed fight scene per episode.

@raison, Deadman wonderland only adapts the first part of the manga (And it doesnt introduces some characters) which makes them use others for certain scenes (Like Ep.2) is still good, but its been more than 5 months since i saw an chapter update in the manga.

Yeah, I have one episode left, and realized there's no way they're going to wrap things up (which is why I used to avoid shorter anime, as they often do this *shakes Pandora Hearts*), and that Karura mentioned I'd have to read the manga if I like the anime. Sucks. It's a good show.

Higurashi no naku koro ni I put it off so long, and really expected to not be able to get into it on account of the animation style--I REALLY don't like it. The first few episodes also had some boring scenes I just couldn't keep my focus on. . . . but then the show just keeps getting creepier and creepier, and I am absolutely mezmerized by the chilling suspense. Loving the show.
