Since I recently found new chapters to Wife ~ and ~ Wife, I should read them. Apart from that, I have a lot of Lodoss manga to read, and Fire Emblem. Then I found Trusty Bell - Chopin no Yume on an online manga reading page and the only reason I want to read that one is because Chopin looks awesome. Only thing is that it takes so much for me to sit down and read them ( No, I do not have ADHD) that it's always like " snort, I'll do something else" and I hate reading manga online, I want them on my computer. Oh, I had forgotten about all my Aliens / Predator comics too and Star Wars and other >_< Gaah! I have so much to read! Ghost in the Shell, Surrogates, Gantz, Crossbone Gundam.

Higurashi no naku koro ni Enjoy S2 when it just turns into "the power of friendship will solve everything!" Though, crap, now you've made me want to listen to the OP again...

Actually my interest in Higurashi died down about mid-way through. The episodic nature of various short stories doesn't interest me as much as the cohesiveness of contiguous stories. --I'm tempted to just rewatch Geass, Blood+, or Eureka 7, or rent FMA, even with all the other shows on my HD, because I know I like the stories. I'm sure I'll enjoy Utena and Legend of Galactic Heroes once I start them. . . but the length combined with the animation makes me not want to start them *kicked for shallowness* Anyway, Higurashi's good enough I tend to watch an entire chapter at a time when I do watch it, but I've decided to pause at episode 16 to watch Gosick. . . which is also of an episodic nature. It's a great show, overall, but each case only lasts two or three episodes, and then they introduce something else. I'm really hoping they introduce something big plot-wise to tie it all into a single arc mid-way through. . . but I'm not optimistic.

The only reason I enjoyed Higurashi S1 is when I realized that each chapter is done in a different style of horror movie.
I still have that nice Utena S1 box set that was released last year and haven't watched it yet.. Now I haven't watched any anime in almost a year, but the age of the production is what makes me wary with Utena...

Okay, can anybody recommend any great movies for me? Preferably from the last few years. I still have some series left, but I'm in the mood for cinema lately (there's also a higher chance of finding movies than series on Netflix). Sadly, I've watched all the movies I'd saved except Unlimited Blade Works, but The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time were among the best things I've seen, so I'm eager to find something on par. Though my tastes evidently vary from most, as I have NO idea what people see in Shinkai--I expected something great from The Place Promised in Our Early Days, but for something that combines quantum mechanics with a love story to make me so bored, it has to be REALLY bad! (and even my beloved Oshii betrayed me by wasting my time/harddrive with that plotless Skycrawler crap! ) . . . so finding a fit for me probably isn't easy. So far, the first was by far my favorite. Very creepy.
