Hey, does anyone want to sell me these games? I live in Brazil, but I could pay for the shipping charges.

Would you settle for the non Vista compatible version of Origin(artbook included.)

Sure, I'm still using XP. How much would you ask for it?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you!
Pre-ordered it as soon as I could. I'm asking the $85 USD after taxes I paid for it, plus whatever it costs to ship to Brazil. Quotes for shipping range from about $15-$30.
I haven't used the serial # so if you wanted to send away for the special Adol disk, you can.
I found the game, it's like new. The hard case, the manual, art book and disk are all in impeccable condition.

Thanks for answering, Majuunun, but I won't be able to buy it right away, 'cause I'm a little short on money. Anyway, I'll send you a message when I have the dough.

Falcom made Ys I and II Complete available for download on Yahoo! Japan a while ago. The only thing is, I've had some problems with the first game's WAV music not playing after a while (I think it happened shortly after beating the game, so this may or may not be a problem). I think someone said there was a patch that could help fix the problem, but I don't know where to get it from. Anyway, here are the links to the download pages, if you're interested:
EDIT: Links removed. See discussion below for an explanation as to why.

Are those full free versions or what? I thought they were demos?

Who knows. Falcom is high on crack. I know some advertises pop up when you open the game.

Actually, if you use NightWolve's patch, you won't have to deal with the adverts, you can get the WAV music to play, AND best of all? The games have no time limit, they're essentially FREE!

Are those full free versions or what? I thought they were demos? Huh, I guess they are supposed to be trial versions, at least according to the .html files that come with the download. But I've completed both of those games a while ago, and have been able to play the games without problems (minus the music issue in the first one) for about half a year now. I didn't have to pay to continue playing, or anything of the sort. Actually, if you use NightWolve's patch, you won't have to deal with the adverts, you can get the WAV music to play, AND best of all? The games have no time limit, they're essentially FREE! Oh, well, that explains everything then. Should I go ahead and remove those links then?

Nope; I just gotta find the links to NightWolve's patches and stuff, and this post can be like a reference point or something.

That removing the links thing was meant to be addressed to the moderators/administrators. Guess I should've clarified that.
By having those links up, plus the ones to NightWolve's patch (if the patch really does provide unlimited playing time, which seems likely), it's like we're inviting everyone to pirate these games from Falcom, when that is apparently not what is supposed to happen via those downloads.

I'm not even 100% sure on the unlimited playing time. Infact, is it possible to beat them without the patches? As far as I knew, there wasn't a timer to begin with.
One more thing I noticed: Boss Rush becomes immediately available.

I'm not sure, either, about the the unlimited playing time thing. It seems likely, though, because I installed NightWolve's patches before ever playing the games.
As far as beating it without the patches, someone said earlier in this topic you're supposed to only play for 60 minutes, so I'd imagine the answer is no.
As for Boss Rush/Time Attack mode, I read somewhere that NightWolve made it so it was available from the very beginning, although I don't know why he'd do that.

For me, the patches were a what-if thing; I never expected it to actually work. You can just about imagine the surprised look I had when it did, though.

Heh, and I got the Ys I + II DS Deluxe Box, so I know I'm not hurting Falcom. ...or am I? Dun dun dun... Seriously, do they get any sort of profit from companies like Namco-Bandai, Mastiff or RisingStar?

Alright, I've decided to go ahead and remove those links to the trial versions for the time being, just to be on the safe side. My apologies to everyone for spreading misinformation - clearly, I should have made a better attempt to translate the material on those pages before clicking the download links.
In any case, I think I'll go order a legitimate copy of Ys I and II Complete right now - I don't want to be hurting Falcom's sales if I can help it. Besides, maybe this way that music problem will finally get resolved. =p

Plus you need to download a patch from NightWolve's site to fix the music problem; Ys I tunes need to be played in a different frequency than Ys II tunes, as they were both recorded in different frequencies. However, I find that I need to change frequencies whenever I switch games.
