He's actually not too hard to find, but he's a real pain in the butt to get standing properly, even without it's Beam Smart Cannon. Also, here's another challenging build: Wing Gundam Ver. KA MG You probably can't tell, but the rub on decals on the wings were a real hassle, and it's really easy to screw up on them. While its not great, but given how much abuse the mobile suit itself took in the series, it seems a bit fitting.

New Project Impulse Gundam MGHad this one sitting around for a bit so I decided to start it. These also came in the box and I have NO IDEA what they mean. Ether way I got everything apart and got all the materials together. While I had the camera out I took some pics of my Wing Zero Custom with the stand.

Nice Impulse! Can't wait to see that done. Now that you mentioned it, I also got one of those GUNPLA cards (came with C1) and have yet to know what the heck they are. And is your wing zero HG or MG, because a have the MG version and plan on getting the PG version.

Its MG, and I would love to get my hands on a PG version for sure. They are pretty scarce on Ebay unfortunately.

Wow almost a month and no updates.... I am sorry guys, I have been really into video games lately, and even though all my pieces are painted, there still sitting in bags.
I should get some motivation as soon as I finish Skies of Arcadia (Which might not be far off. I am at 35+ hours), I will restart work on my Impulse MG.

Man it took forever, but I used laquor paints, and a whole wack of detailing. The paint job turned out really metallic which is exactly what I was looking for. I would take better pics, but alas my camera blows. Hopefully its pleasing to the eyes!

I should post mine. I've only got 7 (6 completed), and all for one of them lack any detailing... I should be ashamed. (3 outta seven came in one package.)

By all means, post the other models you are working on. This topic is really about kits more than anything.
I grabbed an Evangelion model not too long ago. Maybe Ill start working on that one.

Well how I do it nowadays is by taking simple steps: first you prime the models either black or white depending on light you want the colors. Then you color the base color by your choice like red or blue. Then you get a brighter red or blue so that it looks like the light it shining on it. The next part you start working on details like swords, decorations, gear, etc by using colors like silver, gold or brown. What you would also would want to work with is drybrushing color on the models so that it looks more realistic and so that you don't have to use ink to get in the crevices. How to drybrush is by getting a soft brush, a little bit of paint and smoothly wiping portions on the model. For parts where you want to shine like jewels and glasses you add a little white on the side to make it look like its shiny. Practicing is the key, try new thing and experiment so that it could look better. By doing this constantly every once in a while you get the hang the hang of it, and if you make a mistake just paint over it. I would show examples but all my cameras are messed up, I'll have to show you later.

I totally understand, and have watched several video's on drybrushing. I really should start my next kit, so that I can get a bit better with brushes.
