Actually, that is erroneous. To get to Majuunun, do you remember that huuuge room with narrow ledges and many many pitfalls? There is a circular pattern of hexagonal platforms positioned in the middle of that room. You have to dash-slash-jump and land in the gap between the middle of those platforms. You'll land on a single platform. You'll need the Rainbow Fragment to see the platform north of Adol's position -- jump on that platform, and then jump into the room beyond it. Viola, you face the beast! Enjoy, friend.

Don't sweat it, Wyrd -- I do believe I know why you got confused. You were thinking of the location of the Black (or was it Yellow?) Tabulas, which stretches on a series of platforms from the northeast room to the northwest room in that gigantic pit room. It's the same big room, just different timing and positioning. You have to hook around a few screens to get to the top-right exit (and subsequently hop across some invisible platforms, dash-jump under a wall and over a gap for the Tabulas.) for what you were thinking of.

Viola, you face the beast! :) Enjoy, friend. Yes, bust out that viola and serenade the optional boss to death. :D The Ruins of Amnesia on the PS2 (gods, the attacking looks slower than the PC one o_O): ca.youtube.com/watch?v=9uFNpiGwPwEAnd correct me if I'm wrong but the location to get down to the area where Majunun is is around the 3:09 mark yes?

Regarding teleportation between the Rehdan Village and Port Rimorge, I believe that's only possible on the "Normal" difficulty setting. At the very least, I know that you can't do it in "Nightmare" mode, and I'm fairly certain it's the same for "Hard" mode.

Actually, I think that you must have clear data for teleportation to work. I'm not sure if it's just for Normal, or if you must clear Hard to have Hard Teleports, Nightmare for Nightmare Teleports, etc.

I don't know about that. Not too long ago, I replayed the game on "Nightmare" mode (my second time playing on that difficulty, plus my previous "Normal", "Hard", and "Nightmare" mode game files are on the same memory card), and the warp wasn't enabled. Not only that, but I remember warps were enabled the very first time I played this game (without clear data, obviously), and it was on the "Normal" difficulty setting.

There's nothing there. I know, it looks very strange, doesn't it? Sadly, we've all been fooled into thinking that something should appear there, but nothing ever does.
Same with the room where you see that eyeball creature.

Oh yeah, that eyeball creature. I'm not really sure, but I think that eyeball creature is a Galbalan creature. I think. I LOVE Ys VI.

i killed him, and i'm pretty sure many people here have already did it too. for majunuun, you need tons of strengh to hurt him. my strategy was too equip all the items that raised strengh (even if it lowered other atributes), and use the ericcil magic.. skipping it's attacks while the magic is charging. i killed him at lv56 the first time.

I too used all the +Str items that I can. Galba Shield, Emelas Hand and Galba Hand.
The hard part is getting to lv.56 though or anything above 53 as all the monsters would only give you one digit exp and you need like 15k to get to the next level. After each level, all the exp rewards get halved. So the time it takes you to level up with the same enemies doubles.

i'm at level 53 now, and things have change a little now, since the other swords too give damage, i've almost done it using ericcil and livart for avoiding its summon attack, last time it remained with 1400 HP, so i think now i can manage it i'm using the coin of fortune too, so that when i use magic usually i get more critical attack
