Now it has been created. Let's keep doppiapunta's Ys VI thread clean of spamness. The last two non-ontopic posts were the following (pasting them h3r 2 make things easier): Sheeeet! I want altima to design me a cool signature like his! You both should be characters in Heroes. You both should be characters in Heroes. !? What? They'd have the power to patch any foreign game and do all the graphic touch ups instantly??? Actually, that'd be a pretty neat ability. ^^ Instant translation! Anything non 100% project-related posted in the project thread will be deleted...ERASED. Forever. (Do I have the authority to create such a thread? NO! But it had to be done! ) To id1948: Check this out. xD

Ha. This reminds me of GameFAQs where they split game boards for stuff that's game-related only and the social boards! XD You know, I wonder how many threads we have here actually stayed ON topic. XD XD XD XD

Hey, I just wanted to say that it'd be neat if doppiapunta and his crew became a full-fledged translation company and brought over some English-translated Falcom games to the Western world! XD!!!!

Excuse my ineptitude, but what game is Sora No Kiseki(My Japanese is kind of rusty)? After reading what everyone is saying about it, I may have to add it to my list of games to buy from Falcom. Thanks a lot.

Excuse my ineptitude, but what game is Sora No Kiseki(My Japanese is kind of rusty)? After reading what everyone is saying about it, I may have to add it to my list of games to buy from Falcom. Thanks a lot. Collective name for the 3 'Legend of Heroes 6' games, there's First Chapter, Second Chapter and The 3rd. They're all direct sequels to one another, and Legend of Heroes 7 will continue the story too. They're all amazing games, and I strongly recommend them unless you're not confident in your Japanese, in which case I recommend sacrificing newborns to omgfloofy and waiting for the translation project to finish. They're very plot and character oriented, so if you don't understand the text you're missing more than half of what makes them so special. Speaking of Legend of Heroes, I ordered something nice the other day

Thanks for the explanation. My Japanese isn't anywhere near good enough to play a game, any game(with the exception of a few words, it's pretty much nonexistent). So I'll patiently wait for omgfloofy to finish her translation. One more question: How do the three Legend of Heroes games released for PSP tie into Legend of Heroes VI? Or do they have anything to do with it at all?

They're all one trilogy (usually called the Gagharv trilogy), but they're set in a different world to the Sora no Kiseki games.

Hmm so there for the older Japanese crowd then hey. I have watched some video's on the games, and they look awesome. Alas, I don't think Ill ever get around to them. On a side note, how are the soundtracks, and are they readily available? I don't even think there are official OST's for the 3-5 trilogy.

I've never been able to decide whether I prefer SC's OST or the 3rd's, though FC's is definitely my least favourite. I have tons of memories attached to both of them and love the majority of tracks on both. Maybe I should just stop trying to choose. Like wyrdy said they are more traditional RPG-ish music, but they're really awesome traditional RPG-ish music and definitely worth picking up - certain tracks probably won't be quite as good without playing the game (煉獄への階段/Staircase to Purgatory in particular has its impact more than doubled by the scenes it plays in) but most of them should be. Wouldn't know for sure, I listened to less than half of the soundtrack beforehand.

Damn that's sweet, if they come up for sale on Falcom's site, can you let me know? I would love to get my hands on some Falcom soundtracks, but they are damn hard to come by.

Ya' gotta agree, though, that FC & SC Super Arrange is totally epic, though, right? I mean, seriously, that's just one hell of an amazing album! -Tom It's got some really good tracks, but I dunno if I'd stretch to 'totally epic', heh. For some reason I never managed to get very far into listening to first half of the album, always skipping to later tracks like the arranges of The Enforcers and Fateful Confrontation. Was really happy when the latter actually started playing during 3rd. Also, the first of my PC Vista versions of the Gagharv trilogy arrived today! Typically the first one to arrive was LoH5... aaaaaaand it doesn't work. On Vista 32bit the screen goes black exactly like it normally does when starting a full screen game... then goes back to normal and kills the game window. Tried patching and it just says the game isn't installed - when it quite clearly is. On Windows 7 the game *does* start, though the colours in the opening sequence are completely off, and are completely off in the whole game should I dare to switch to another window temporarily. On I don't suppose there's any way to force the game into a window on the off-chance I actually get it to work with AGTH, is there? There's that and the fact I just hate fullscreen gaming with old games like this on the PC anyway.
