Ooh, I've been anxiously awaiting this... I'm totally paying the money to download it! But first, I should see if BOST TV has it, since I still have credit with them. -Tom lol I know how you feel. I herd that it was airng on thursday a few days ago and was like.. " OMG 2 more days!!!" I swear I freaked.. cuz honestly I didn't think it was going to air till like march or something like the Valkyria chronicles anime.

For some reason, I was expecting this to air in July of this year. Not that I'm complaining that it's airing now... =)
First episode was good, although I wish they would've touched on the story some more. The way The Aegis of Uruk ended, I was expecting them to expand on it a little more than they did. Still, it's only the first episode of a new season, so I probably shouldn't expect too much story elements just yet.

XD Great ending! I am disappointed yet again, but hell with it, looks like they're trying something entirely new with this show, which is awesome! :3
Hahaha... ropers... X3
// When I say I'm "disappointed", I mean that I'm pleased with the show -- just displeased with the varying circumstances therein; the "Aw shit, what else could go wrong?!" feeling I'm getting from the show. ;D I figured I had to clarify, so that you don't misunderstand. For the record, I LOVE the show.

That was the most disappointing avalanche, ever. ;D I much prefer the one before it. ^_^;
The one in Episode 1 bothered me a great deal, however -- the future through the eyes of Ki.
I'm really wondering what the HELL happened to Gilgamesh! He's the hero in ALL of the games! D: Why must it be like so?

XD I know, I know. I'm just so impatient. It came with age, actually. ; I used to be the most patient little chipmunk. And then... I turned 21. XD Now I want things to happen in my time, the now, the present! Chop chop!

I liked this season up until they started bringing up the whole "gods=evil" thing, which I believe was around episode 8. I still enjoyed the basic story, it's just the anti-God attitude that certain characters hold that I can't stand. Why can't writers ever seem to stay away from that issue...? I believe in God and all, but I really think it would be best just to leave that entire issue (both the good and the bad) out of what should be a leisurely activity.

Well, you have to understand, most Japanese do NOT believe in God... Yeah, I'm aware of that (or, rather, I can guess it well enough). I guess, but it still is done far too much for my liking. I still think it would be best just to leave religion/spirituality out of it as much as possible. It's just too messy a subject, and I usually watch anime/read/play games to try and escape that sort of thing; having such things in there as major plot devices tends to ruin the experience for me. But then again, I have quite an unusual set of beliefs (not going to talk about it publically), so it's very difficult to get away from them in the first place. So long as such things are not used as a major focal point of a story, I don't mind it too much. Ah, I've been meaning to look into that series sometime, but I've been pre-occupied with other stuff lately. Perhaps now would be a good time to do so...

Sure, go ahead and shoot me a PM in regards to PopoloCrois.
No religious differences in Japan? I thought there were at least two major religious sects, but I can't recall at the moment (as you can tell, I'm quite ignorant of Japanese culture ;().
And like I said before, as long as the religious/spiritual stuff doesn't become the main plot point (Tales of the Abyss, for example), I usually don't mind it very much.

Hmm, very interesting. I get the epic and cool/mysterious aspect of it, but that's seriously all there is to it in Japanese culture...? That's rather tough to swallow, but I suppose that's because my religious beliefs are such a major part of my identity.

DAMN! That was pretty epic! ...wyrd, you have a funny way of blowing things out of proportion, you know that? Maybe we just grew up in different subcultures or something. I suppose this makes us even, though. You've got The Sword of Uruk, and I've got Moonlight Witch. Now I want to continue my Fushigino/Fushigi No (Whatever the hell it is, it's different between Japan and America for some reason) Dungeon quest. Have you started yet, wyrd? Didn't I read you picked it up recently? I'm anxious to hear your thoughts.

Ah! Well let me know when you get started! After all that's happened in the anime, I'll never see Gilgamesh the same way again, haha.
