Sound Problem in Ys II Complete

Ok im fairly new here *bows*

recently i got my hand on Ys II complete and applyed the translation patch and the alternate soundtrack patch (both are just awesome).

now here is my problem.

The BGM plays just fine in Ys II complete but there are almost no SFX (sound of sword clashing, footsteps, or even the menu sound ...)

Ys I complete is running perfect .. all sound are present etcc (the same as with II i applyed both patches).

I installed the newest sound driver (realtek HD R2.14) and im using CCCP Codec pack.

as mentioned above .. sometime (but very rarly) i get a SFX for a plit secound (hearing 1-2 footsteps or perhaps 1 sword sound [while bashing 3 enemys in a row with about 12+ strikes etc..])

does someone has a solution for this?

Haha I had the same problem and now its solved thanks If I had checked this in the first page I wouldnt have had to go trough all useless stuff. ^{_{(enpa ois arvannu että noin yksinkertanen vika oli, kyllä alko jo harmaita hiuksia tulemaan kun kaiken turhan teki uudestaan ja uudestaan - jotenkin tottunu siihen että vika ois koneessa..)}}
