Not really major, but just wanted it to be known that according to Falcom Daisuki, the Mega Drive version of Legend of Heroes is apparently scheduled for release on the Wii Virtual Console... ......in Japan. homepage1.nifty.com/sugimo/falcom/

Hmm, while I prefer the Turbo version, I'd love to play this or the SNES version in english, though that will probably never happen.
Edit-Looks like LoX 2 is also on the VC!!! Man, come on Hudson, just translate it & bring it over!!

Hudson wasn't involved in LoX 2, so I don't think that'd help much. They Japanese VC also got the Mega Drive versions of Sorcerian and Lord Monarch. Darnit, Falcom, give us some of that action!

Hudson is the one responsible for releasing VC games, whether they be in NA, Europe, or Japan. It doesn't have anything to do with who made the game. If you look at the list of VC games(no matter what region), you'll notice games by companies, that Hudson had no involvement with. Data East, Naxat, Falcom, Irem, Konami(though, now Konami owns Hudson), Taito, etc.

Wha? When did they state that? I remember reading that they were doing really well with the VC

Well, it's not that Hudson is "done" with it. More that they've chosen to prioritize WiiWare instead (for... some... reason...). They did just release Bomberman '94 in Japan, so it's possible we'll still see some TG-16 titles in the future. Still, kinda sucks.
