OK, does anyone else have problem beating this boss? What level is require to have a good chance of beating this boss? My character is level 53, and from here on leveling is a pain. Anyone know a good place to level?

Hm, I talked about this in the spam thread a couple of months ago. *hunts down the posts* What difficulty are you playing on? I tried to take on Majuunun in hard, and it ripped my shit right up. But on normal, I could take it. Normal right now. After I finish the game I'll start again on Hard and Nightmare. The main problem about Majunun is its resistence (you have to equip everything that raises strength, namely: Galba Shield, Emelas Glove, Galba Hand, Wood Amulet from Isha) and your level must be at least 51 (or 50?) to inflict any damage (unless you're playing on either Hard or Nightmare, because for some weird reason, you always inflict a minimum of 1 damage per hit against enemies in those 2 difficulties). I finally defeated it at Lv. 53, but man, I don't recommend facing the guy before Lv.55 because trying over and over again may make you lose countless hours in vain. I do mean countless. And on hard this guy's even stronger, I recall I didn't beat it on Hard in the PS2 version back in 2005, but I'll certainly try later. Well, in the worst case you may need to level up even more. By the way GMF, maybe it would help you to defeat Majunun if I told you what I was wearing! Galba Shield (since it raises power), Emelas Armor (because of everything, but especially because sometimes it nullifies damage), Galba Hand (it's vital for the power), Emelas Glove (mostly for power), Wood Amulet from Isha (same as the glove), Emelas Crown (for HP too, but mostly because it raises luck, which will make the Emelas Armor nullify damage more often, as well as help you inflict more criticals), some Lucky Coin (same as the Emelas Crown). All the swords need to be maxed out, of course. Ericcil's magic inflicts the most damage, but Blirante's regular attacks and skill work out best. It's up to you to decide which of those two you would rather use. The swords' magics will recover fast enough without that Black Orb or the Emelas Shield. Offense is top priority, so stay with the Galba Shield. As for the Black Orb, maybe you could trade the Lucky Coin for it, but I had better results with the coin (because the Orb didn't make as much difference as the coin did). Oh! Also get 9 Blue Potions ready for battle. And victory is much more assured on Lv 55, at least on Normal. Good luck. Also I have to ask: did you open the treasure chest in that room yet? If you didn't, there's a minor bug you can use to your advantage. (If you have already opened it though, then I won't even mention it. xD) EDIT: I almost forgot to say something; The best place to level up is that room located RIGHT AFTER that last elevator you take (there's even a save pedestal near the elevator, to the right). It's a large room with many enemies, most of them being those spinning ones in red. There are also some of those flying blue balls too, and a few others. Use the lightning magic to dispose of them faster, too. But that's only while they are still giving you more than 1 EXP each. By the time you reach Lv. 57 or something, the best place to earn levels is that room in the Limewater Cave that has about 3 of those verm-spitting monsters: since they will spit out those verms constantly at you, and each of them give you 1 EXP, it becomes the best place to level up in the whole game. (But it still takes HOURS. u_u') Oh, and burn all your money on Vitality Seeds. Also, if you're playing the PS2 or PSP versions, you can level up "for free" either 5 times (PS2) or 18 times (PSP) with the help of Alma's Trials. But keep in mind that if you do so, you won't ever be able to receive another unit of the Daylight Gem, whose second unit is also PSP/PS2-exclusive. (To get it, you have to reject whatever is offered to you everytime you complete a Trial, in both versions.)

Getting the treasure wasn't much of a problem, i got it when it killed me in one hit, haha. As for the leveling part, its quite dreadful. , i was leveling at a room much earlier than what u said, the room is somewhere in the beginning of the dungeon with 4 of those rolling razor thing and 1 in the middle doing the healing, going back and forth was fast. But thanks for the tips, the spinning things does give much more exp. so I'll stick with your method. =)

Getting the treasure wasn't much of a problem, i got it when it killed me in one hit, haha. Getting the treasure isn't that hard. I managed to get it as soon as I got the rainbow fragment. :D;; I had to race in, avoid Majuunun like the plague, get it, and race out. I'd have died in one hit. ...it's a shame that I got it before it could even /work/. D: Eh, but wait, I didn't state otherwise. 'o_o I just said that you can use a bug to your advantage when you decide to battle it if you didn't open the chest until then... =_='
