It looks like there'll be some pretty intense action ala God of War. I think the series really needed a change, since the last really good console game in it was Symphony of the Night, and letting Kojima's studio produce it is an interesting idea. Judging by the video, it looks promising.

Since it's Kojima we are talking about, the presentations will not disappoint. I don't want God of War clone, though.

The last line of the article summed up my thoughts.
Now the only question that remains is: What happened to long-time Castlevania mastermind Koji Igarashi?

Wow! It does look very God of War like, but damn! First impressions are everything and they NAILED IT! Not only the graphical and cinematography presentation, but with Patrick Stuart for a Voice Over and Hideo Kojima being a part of the project!
It's like saying, "No way is this going to fail!" I sure hope they get the 3D formula right this time around though. The two N64 Castlevania's were terrible, yet Lament of Innocence almost had the formula down correctly, and Curse of Darkness took what they did in Lament and destroyed it, making it feel boring, stagnant and bland.
Can this truly be Castlevania 3D masterpiece? So far it looks like it could happen!

I never was disappointed by a single Castlevania game, and I played THEM ALL. (Except 2 of the GBA and DS titles. xD Will play someday.) This one is no exception, I think. But I wonder if it will do justice to the series. Well, with Kojima behind, I think it will, in a way or another. Anyway... Finally... FINALLY Finally a worthwhile PlayStation3 game. Potentially, that is.

(Except 2 of the GBA and DS titles. xD Will play someday.) Yes. Yes you will. Man, everyone is pumped about Patrick Stewart in the game. It'll be kind of funny if you get to play as him (^^;), spewing out Shakespearean sonnets and all~~~~

I couldn't care less about Captain Pickard or anyother celebrities being in the game, I prefer voice actors to do voice acting, rather the actors! Anyways, the game might be ok, but, I don't like that it sounds like the Iga-verse is no more, I love what Iga did with the series! Sure, LoI & CoD weren't the best, but, I still loved them, the Castleroids are where it's at though. And what happened to that Alucard game for PS3? Is Iga still working on it, or did they give him the boot? Also, I still want the 1999 game! Anways, in short, I'm bummed, yet, cautiously optimistic. I guess I should say I have mixed emotions. Sounds like the music will be all orchestral, which, sounds nice, but, not Castlevaniash, & I love Kojima for his MGS games, & thankfully he does have a sense of humor, which is one of the things I love about the CV games, however, since some other team is actually doing the work.....will there be any humor? Really, just not sure what to think, seems like it might be cool, & maybe the first REALLY good 3Dvania(though, I always prefer 2D, atleast in games that started in 2D). Some suggest that Gabriel is going to get the mask, & end up becoming Dracula, though, I also got the feeling the game takes place in the distant future, so, maybe Gabriel ends up being the new Vampire Lord like Soma could've been, not sure

Well, not really. Most of his video games credits are for Star Trek and X-men video games. Which are only natural, since they are his roles. The only video game credit he has that isn't one of those 2 is a character in Elder Scrolls Obliviion. So this kinda is a big deal. I'm sure he'll do great though, he's one of my favorite actors.
I wish I were as confident about the game itself. Castlevania and Metroid are very similar in their troubles going 3D.

I guess I didn't scroll down far enough. Interestingly enough He was King Richard in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and a year later he did this game, and in the credits also has him listed as King Richard. I wonder if the creators of this game were fans of Robin Hood Men in Tights. It's quite a coincendence for him to get the same role in 2 different projects less than a year apart.

Patrick Stewert is awesome, I'm not debating that! It just doesn't matter to me if he's in it or not, since I consider him a TV/Stage/Cinema actor, more then anything. But it's not just him in the game either, there are other regular actors apparently(though, I've never heard of any of them), & as someon who loves voice acting & would love to do voice acting, I think about all those anime/video game actors, that, have there jobs taken, making it more difficult to earn a living.

I added Patrick Stewart's name in the subject for fun! Afterall, he seems to be stealing all the attention from the game! XD!!!!
You know, Earl Grey isn't that awesome of tea. :/ Maybe I never had good Earl Grey before. .___.;

I don't think Captain Picard picks his teas based on their awesomeness. (: But why else would he only drink Tea? Earl Grey? Hot?

Isn't awesome good? Most people don't like bad teas...
So, I like Earl Grey, although it has a very particular taste. To be honest I mostly drink mint, chamomile stuff called Sleepytime, Orange Pekoe, and Green... I love tea though, I try all kinds of flavours!
As for the game? Well, since Konami is picking it up and Kojima is somehow involved I'm sure it will be better than if the original team did it.

For the same reason (or, more accurately, kind of an opposite reason) people here often drink black coffee. It's a habitual thing, and it helps wake them up. Earl Grey tea is probably a habitual thing for Captain Picard, and it probably helps relax him. Perhaps! But there are other kinds of black tea! XD! I bet he sticks with Earl Grey because it tastes yummy!
