hah sweet, lookign forward to it. ;]
Exchanging contact info would be the best Idea, though I'll give you my info later since I'm at school right now lol. I dont blame ya, I have some friends I plan to hang with as well. Dinner would be cool, though it'd have to be friday or saturday since I have plans to eat at the Hard rock with my mom, sister, friend Deanna and her dad.

Don't suppose I'll be going. Not quite the otaku quite yet. The only draw for me would be the Falcom / Falcom group aspect. Maybe next year!
Are you still going to try to videotape anything cool?

Yeah I was, I had no idea Wyrd even had another panel planned until I saw the schedule. Don't forget to ask for more time next year Tom! I swear you sell games with that panel.

heh cool. I wonder if I might have seen you. though I seriously doubt it. I was with my sister, she was dressed as Marina from Valkyria chronicles.
yeah you deff. need more time for that, though with the little time there was, the pannel was great, much better than the tales pannel I went to later that day!

Wow, ONLY 2 hours?? I thought you guys let the panel open for the whole day, and for more than a day. Like all anime cons of any kind in Brazil

This is weird. No anime panel is like this in Brazil... and believe me, there are LOTS I wonder why. It's not like the conventions here aren't full of people! (Sometimes it's hard to move! xD)

LOL! We did see each other then! I was the guy that complimented her on her costume and said I would catch yall on Cosplay.com. Hahah, that is funny, I was even trying to remind myself about how I had to check that site for Valkyria cosplays, even though my memory is aweful. Yeah, Red, you need to make a post about a Con down there. I always love Brazil, because they are always into the nitch stuff that I like, and they always have something cool dealing with it going on down there. I need to visit.

Yeah, I think I may just do that, then post up here. I have already an anime convention (called "AnimeCon" no less ) on my schedule, and it will happen in September. (Also, there was one just these past two weeks. It was 6 days long or so.) I think Brazil is a somewhat peculiar country in many senses, it's weird. And I have mixed feelings about it. @_@ Japan and Brazil have some strong... bounds, too.

Word, sounds good. I'll keep posting on this forum about the cons I will be at, so just make a post back if there are any you will be at. I know I will be going back to Otakon (Even if it is during Evo ) because I told my girlfriend I would take her and my friends are already booking rooms. I don't think I will be attending Connecticon though, unless AnimeNext needs a extra staffer to attend with them to promote the con, because if so, I would totally go. Like I said, I'll keep ya updated though. Invites go out to anyone though, con's are so big now, it is weird to just go up to random people and meet them. I miss this old school camaraderie I hear people talk about, where it was all for one one for all of geeky anime people at the old conventions. Like people would just randomly sit down and chat with you about anime whether they knew you or not, because it was the only place you could meet someone that was into the same thing that you were. Now everyone is so defensive, but there are just a lot more people in general, and the defensive nature just kind of sticks once one person puts it up. I only get into conversation with a random person about once a con, some none at all. Kinda beat...and I got good tastes too! From typical moe stuffs to Mechs to old school Protoculture! references. Bums me out, lol. But yeah, anyone! Lets hang out at a future con near you! -Jeremy

Ahh connecticon xD thats tomarrow. My sister and I'll be attending that for friday only, just because its only 45 min away from where I live and i have some friends that go there.
I think the next con. we're going to is AUSA in Virginia, we already have our rooms and stuff booked so.. yeah. and as for otakon next year, will be attending again, accept be warned I'll be carrying an airhorn around with me, mostly for the tales of.. pannnel though.
I know exactly how you feel. The first con i went to, i think was back in 2005 or 6, anime boston, everyone was so friendly , had lots of random conversations with people. but now people seem to be getting mean, or defensive like you said, and it kind of takes the fun out of it all. I usually get into a conversation with at least one person every con, this year at otakon that random person happened to be you, even though it was only for about a minute or so.
BTW--- Whats Evo?

Evo is short for Evolution. It is the biggest fighting game tournament that another group of my friends plan to go to next year, but for the past two years it has happened on the same weekend as Otakon.

Evo I know those Evos really well. ' So many Smash Bros. tournaments, there were/are. Too bad back in the day I didn't have an opportunity to go to the US to attend to one of those. Though last year (and this year too?), there was an Evo South America. For Brawl though. And other stuff.
