Still sexy though. If someone were a Brandish fan with money to burn, I'd bet they would buy it or at least make a direct offer for it. : )
And I'm really starting to enjoy Brandish... A LOT! Dark Revenant is what I'm currently focusing on, but it has been completely my type of game. Mazes, exploration, strategic battles, various styles and perks for playing it a certain way and rewards for challenging myself to 100% completion. And the sheer feel of being isolated by tons and tons of unique dungeon crawler levels with a great soundtrack to boot. : )

I meant to reply to this a long time ago, but somehow forgot!
I had taken some shots at it, but he won't part with it for any less than $200. Completely understandable though, it's probably the only sealed American copy in the world. It's not that I lack the money, but I do lack the insanity needed buy it!
Got my hands on a much better deal that just arrived here today. It's as mint as you can get, came with box/booklet/poster and even those stupid Nintendo ads. Needless to say, I'm one happy fan!
Now that I'm done boasting, the interesting part is this: the booklet contains a four-page prestory to the game. One thing that stood out is that it says that Ares did NOT murder Dela's master Balcan! Apparently he has been wrongfully accused of it. Never got that out of the games. If there's any interest I can type up the whole thing.
And Skye, know that both Brandish 2 and 3 are on par, if not better, than Brandish 1. You're in for hours of excellent exploration madness if you ever delve into those two!
