How do we use the Support Skills? Are they passive? What does the multiplier besides them mean? (I have no knowledge of Japanese at all !) By the way (spoiler ahead) After defeating the giant spider-like monster, when the archer girl joins you, I've come across a dark cave (bought the lamp to see properly) and found a boss (it's a giant). Is that where am I supposed to go or did I went the wrong way? I'm finding defeating that boss pretty difficult :/ Thanks, it's an awesome game !

Got a spoiler boss battle question. To give you an idea of whether or not you should highlight the following, I believe I'm about 3 - 4 dungeons away from the last dungeon and going by gameplay hours, I'm up to 25 (go, go grinding power!) so ... :P
This has to do with the fire area~
Just curious of what level and who you used to fight the fire dragon? I THINK I'm doing fine -- pounding it with at least 30 - 50+ regular hits with Sigroon and spamming her water and ice skills whenever possible. I think Adol & Dogi do more though but I don't really pay attention to those 2. :P Everyone's pretty much hovering around level 39 - 41.
I already upgraded their weapons at Shannoa (did the fusion ones since they upped ATK more). Not sure if Segram had better weapons though and I don't have access to Kylos yet. Well, I didn't head that way.
I tried Mishera in place of Dogi but she is a really BIG NO-NO because she gets Bad Attacks. ^^ Anyhoo, I'm just looking to know if there's a faster way (with a better combination of characters, etc.) to take it down because the fight seems to drag on for sooooo long. :B
*inserts debug mode into the game, activates it, sneezes, and boss dies! YAY!*

I beat the spiderfly boss, finally. Level 11, Hard mode, used most of my potions. Wow, I had to grind to 13 before I managed to whack him on Hard. Then Aisha joined and had to play massive catch-up... I think they just have a delay between showing up and actually attacking. I tried leaving them alone in one attempt and focusing on the boss but before too long I was trying to dodge triple bubble spreads from three different directions and I'm pretty certain neither of my idiot partners attacked them while I wasn't looking. Damn I hated those things, even when they didn't poison you. Also, general tip for anyone who hasn't figured this out yet: When the boss nabs one of your allies and starts sucking their HP, beat the crap out of your ally (or rather, the tongue that's holding them) to end the attack early. It took me two attempts to figure that one out since I kept trying to attack the boss directly to interrupt him.

The vulture thing on top of the Wind Ruins can suck it
How am I even supposed to beat this?

Never mind, I got him eventually. When you're using Aisha it's a piece of cake

Where do you get the first bone piece for Adol's and Crusche's last armor piece in the Synthesis shop? I have 44 of them already, but I don't know where to get them. And I definitely need it for the last boss; it'll make it SO much easier.

Farm those off of ソルクロワ, those floating 4-claw/tentacled things all over the start of the last dungeon.

Farm those off of ソルクロワ, those floating 4-claw/tentacled things all over the start of the last dungeon. Thanks for that. I just beat it, and wow. I won't spoil anything, but all in all, this game was just AMAZING. I'm gonna play it again on a harder difficulty. Nightmare will definitely last me for a while.

I killed that stupid brontosaurus-looking monster in Altago Plains and got a green amulet thing. What is this?

If a PSPs square button can survive anyone playing Prinny, it can survive Ys Seven.

I don't remember Prinny being as button-heavy as Ys Seven.
So uhm, actual game question. When do I get to warp? Please don't tell me the option has been available all along. I'm at the fire temple, whatever it's called.

I quit at the final boss (of Prinny) because I just KNOW he's gonna kill my Square button. XD I need to start over.

I'm at the fire temple, whatever it's called. I believe it's right after that. You'll know yo uhave the option when you can open the Arthago Map and see all of the save points

I just beat the fire temple boss. I was a little disappointed... the fire temple seems a lot smaller and less interesting than the tree (though I did love cruisin' around on the lava!), and both of its bosses were pretty wussy - beat them each on my first attempt, and didn't even use any items on the boss at the end! I think maybe I'm overlevelled or something, I dunno. I beat both bosses on my first try as well. I thought the turkey thing was way too similar to the cave boss, and the golem just didn't hit hard enough, although its attacks were pretty menacing. What I found really odd is that the golem is weak to Mustafa's attacks... which are largely fire-based. >_> So yeah, now I'm trying to figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do in Altago. I think I have to see the duke.

Everybody's so much farther in than me. I haven't even tried the game yet and probably won't for a while. Consider yourself lucky that you're even able to play it. I couldn't agree more. *wants*

Well, technically we can play it. (I wonder if you overlooked certain posts in the Spam Thread, MP? xD) But, yeah, for now... *hopes the game gets localized and doesn't become another Ys V*

It will be a tragedy if this game doesn't get picked up. As much as I LOVED Ys 6, this is every bit as good, if not better. Not a dull moment with Ys Seven! HOT BLOODED GAME OF THE YEAR.
*anyway getting off topic here guys*
