Pim's new shop and the Diamond Ring?

So I was playing through Ys IV again and I noticed something that I had missed in the past. In the bar in Minea town, there's a guy with an eyepatch who says his wife sold Pim her diamond ring, but since Pim is gone now. I figured this is just a reference to Ys I.. but then when walking around town one of the little kids says that Pim has most likely opened up a shop somewhere else now.

So my question is - Did Pim open up a new shop somewhere? if so, can you buy the diamond ring from him to give it to the one eyed man in the bar for something else?

I never found Pim anywhere in Ys IV MotS on both of my playthroughs, nor did I ever hear about anyone ever finding him.

I'm probably being very silly here and mixing things up buuuut..... wasn't Pim the one who sold Adol the Golden Pedestal(?) in Ys IV: MotS?

.....I suppose my mind just automatically made that up, ne?

Oh, perhaps it was, now that I think about it.

Anyway, no Diamond Ring that I'm aware of or anything aside the Golden Pedestal.

Pim opened more than another shop, he runs a bakery now!

I see his cookies all the time at the store, but I never tried them.
