Kid Icarus on 3DS sounds too good to be true. There's also images floating around of OoT and Star Fox 64 remakes for 3DS as well.
Nintendo certainly did mop the floor with Microsoft and Sony this year.

I already wanted one, but I guess I'll be saving up for it after I get a Wii.

Me me me me
Nintendo's conference this year was INTENSE. Helloooooo Donkey Kong, Kirby, Kid Icarus, Zelda, Golden Sun, Ghost Trick, Star Fox 64 and OoT remakes, Paper Mario, Metroid and Okamiden.
My wallet cries out, though.

Nintendo definitely 'won' out of the 3 big companies. The Microsoft conference was a spectacle of horror and Sony's, while funny, didn't bring anything to the table

Nintendo's conference this year was INTENSE. Helloooooo Donkey Kong This is enough to make me love Nintendo. I was just thinking yesterday "Man, since DK64, it feels like we haven't had a REAL Donkey Kong game for a long time...", and suddenly we get this. By Retro Studios no less. It HAS to be good. It just has to be...

I agree, except for that part where I disagree because DK64 was awesome.
Jungle Beat was also pretty decent, not gonna lie. But not GLORIOUS like the old games.

Yeah, I think I might want a 3DS.
Still.. stop making electronics, especially ones meant to be held in your hand, glossy!

Still.. stop making electronics, especially ones meant to be held in your hand, glossy! I dunno how much the fancy coloured ones will really show prints, and the black one, which definitely would, is matte. I don't get why the area around the screen is shiny black regardless of the colour of the unit though, that's one thing I really hope they change for the final design. The original DS had its design changed slightly between announcement and release so it's possible.

Wouldn't it be wild if this thing got a virtual console going on it, with 3-D option for the games?
I was reminded, because my Sunset Riders signature looks like it is 3-D.

Don't worry, you couldn't scare me even if you wanted to Wasn't intending to make this a megathread so much as 'hey guys this is cool who wants one'. But hey, why not. OP updated with info and stuff.

I probably won't get one until they release a title I really REALLY want.
*wills Falcom not to do a 3DS game*
So many companies listed as game developers for this system. DDDDDDDDDD:

I don't really get it... it's just a game to me... with buttons and a new type of button.
But to each their own.
It isn't their "own stupid-sounding gimmick ideas" it is "Nintendo's creative and original gimmick ideas" put into a stupid sounding package. Although, I could see some nice things happening with Kinect/Natal or whatever.

The whole entire 3D craze is a goddamn gimmick itself.

Yeah, this should surprise no one, but I have absolutely zero interest in this system. Like, not even a PASSING interest. Sorry Nintendo, but your gimmicks just don't work on me. And now you've got Sony and Microsoft following suit with their own stupid-sounding gimmick ideas. Stop it, Nintendo... bad game company! BAD! -Tom I'll admit I could care less about the 3D aspect, and I'm not sure I care for how expensive its going to end up because of that particular technology, but what the hell, man? Look at the lineup of games! F it, I say! F for FABULOUS

Fabulous it? But yeah, that's my view, I don't care particularly about the 3-D part, but hey. It's all good.
