Damn, that looks gorgeous.
Here's hoping Xseed picks it up for release in the future!

I think that'll tie directly into how well the Sora no Kiseki games sell... so yeah... everybody buy, like, sixteen copies, OK? I'll buy all 3, preorder and in any LE form you guys dish it out in. And make all my friends buy it, too. Is that good enough? :< Glassescorgi approves.

Animal sidekicks are the best, but it's also really sad if they die.

... of course someone posts something important whenever I'm not online. It's just tradition. Who's the artist; is it the same person who did the new art for Alternative Saga? I'm curious as to why the characters are basically high-res sprites, while that monster thing is 3D (I think). Is it due to hardware limitations?

Who's the artist; is it the same person who did the new art for Alternative Saga? Nope, it's the same guy who did the art for Ys 7. I'd have preferred the VS artist, don't like Katsumi very much. Oh well. Series thing. Personally I'm glad they kept the sprites, because Ys 7's character models are pixelly messes. This is a much better looking game, imo.

I've always preferred games with highres sprites. Maybe I'm just too old-fashioned with these vidya-gaems, but sprites have a certain something about them that's just oh-so aesthetically pleasing to me. I didn't mind the models in 7, though.

I'm agreed with Varion on the 3D / 2D thing. Ys Seven did look a lot better in motion than it did in still shots, and I must admit that it impressed me much more from a visual perspective than I thought it would, but I still found its models a little on the ugly side at times. I'm not really one to care about graphics, but given the choice I'd always choose sprites over that level of 3D models. And I found myself enjoying SnK FC much more from a visual perspective, even though it was about five years older. So yay for sprites. ^_^
Anyway, thanks for the news. I'll buy this on release, I think. Though I still need to finish Second Chapter and The Third~! I adored FC, but it was so long that I was a tiny bit burned out on the gameplay by the end. I never really got tired with FC itself, but after about five hours of the second game I felt as if playing it so soon after the first might spoil my enjoyment of it a little. Though I only have 'til September, so I'd better get back to it soon.

....oh, okay; I get it now. Anyway, here are a CRAPLOAD of new screens (courtesy of Varion on GameFAQs): 1. Holy crap, the wolf can talk!? 2. The girl with the purple hair kinda looks like/reminds me of Tia from Ys SEVEN. 3. That hairband the blue-haired girl wears makes it look like she has cat-ears. 4. ...fishing? 5. LOL@the slot machine. ...wow, I wonder what else Falcom can cram into this game; something tells me this may be another Sora no Kiseki SC with 2 UMDs. I'm geussing the 3D models will be saved for important events like cutscenes or something, too.

Assuming America likes TitS (haw, I'll never get tired of that), it would be safe to say you guys will be localizing this too, right?

Just get VS out after SC and I'll be happy... even if it would be a long wait... >_>

They will be some huge LoH TitS indeed. As LoH as they go! And yeah, obviously, if the Sora no Kiseki games sell gangbusters, we'll totally go for Zero no Kiseki! But remember, there are three Sora no Kiseki games, and each one is MONSTROUS. Zero no Kiseki won't be happening for a loooooong time, if it happens at all. -Tom Of course. Hm, I wonder if ZnK's script is even larger than SC's. I believe SC was the largest of the TitS, at least if memory serves. Man, you guys HAVE to market that abbreviation somehow!

Just get VS out after SC and I'll be happy... even if it would be a long wait... >_> I was thinking the same thing... but the opening scene with Kevin on the Lusitania and that *awesome* Estelle/Joshua/Cassius battle means you really have to do The Third before you go near ZnK

3rd has a TON of great moments. (Looks at Olivier and Muller's star door. :D :D :D) And people will probably love Lechter a lot. o/` Is that Klose's door? I actually was wondering about the screenshots they had in the guide book under Klose's entry. ...And since I already mention this to Wyrdwad...Klose's seiyuu, Yuko Minaguchi, voices Naoko in Episode 2 of Golden Boy. I can never look at Klose the same way again... C.T.
