I found this whilst browsing a Korean website - It's an official release of LoH4 ported to Korean phones; from the sounds of it the game was segmented and released in chapters over a few months - was this a Korean exclusive or is this a translation of a Japanese phone port? Just curious really, the graphics look quite nice and having portable classic LoH4 must have been lovely

I am guessing that was Aruon doing it on their own. Looking over Falcom licensee list, Aruon had the license to develop a version of LOH4 Tear of Vermillion for mobile phones in South Korea, which is the only time Tear of Vermillion appears.
For comparison, LOH3 White Witch appears several times on the mobile phone list, including Aruon.

Thanks for checking that for me, I always find Falcom's licensee pages a real pain to look through so I didn't even think of looking there! It really does look like a good port, shame I'll never get to play it

Which Falcom title do you want to know if it was released in Chinese? Which Chinese version?
As an amusing aside, Falcom now lists "XseedGAGMES" as the license holder of Ys Seven in the US. Looks like Falcom does not list the license until it is actually published.

It's always the korean who got those games.

That's because they're the people who recognize how cool it would be to make them. Case in point: Ys II Special. Considering that they seem to get very few new Falcom games (a quick check suggests that SnK SC is the newest game to reach Korea) it's only fair they get something to make up for it.
Also, they've fixed it to 'XseedGAMES', which is about as close as you can hope for really. Spacing and capitalization are kind of optional in Japanese.
Also, while we're talking license pages, was 'Ys 3d' (a Taito cellphone game) supposed to be the sidestory where you play as Dogi?
