Is it just me or do you find the fact that your freakin' party members will refuse to harvest materials if an enemy, say, shows up on a cliff above kind of annoying?
I'm also a roll-dodger so I spend a great deal of time evading attacks instead of guarding. However, when you're dashing and rolling, your party won't attack the enemy! >:(

I don't really mind the second one, as it means when I dodge an attack, my party members will dodge it too.
BUT MY GOD, YOUR FIRST POINT. AGREE. SO MUCH.
I find the lack of a mode where you just fight bosses as a major annoyance. >:U

I LIKE your second point, actually. Your party members will NEVER initiate an attack if you don't attack FIRST. They're like mindless sheep, following your lead without question. Which is just as they should be. (: Well, I thought about that too but at the same time, they could have made the AI a bit more complex and let them make SMART decisions and do stuff like attack while the enemy is focused ON YOU. I guess things would have been far too hectic if you could issue attack commands. They kind of worked well in OZ/The Sword of Etheria though where you could tell your party members to attack or follow you in real time. :D Granted, I think you could target specific enemies in that game. But it still could have worked for SEVEN since you set the attack priority (like go after weakest, etc.) in the menu anyway so they won't be completely dumb and attack a different nearby enemy each time. ^^ Oh yeah, I complained about it the first time I played and I'll whine again: The stupid dungeon gimmicks like the damn roots in the Ancient Tree and flowers in the later dungeon feels kind of like a hindrance. They're so no brainer. It's "go to this spot, use item. Hooray". Like why bother? Give me fucking PUZZLES (like the light reflecting one) if you want to block my way with shit. And the fact that there's always a damn little animation after each use of the item ... Ergh.

They should've made them skippable, at least. :U

Agreed on the first point. Sometimes they won't harvest even when there are no enemies around.
Haven't noticed second.

If there's one thing I have a problem with in this game, it's Aisha's Waspinator attack, fir reasons I'm not going to disclose.

Got a few, the primary one being the immense amount if backtracking in the second half of the game. I mean one of the big complaints with Ys VI was the backtracking, and this game seems to have at least twice as much. Then they take away your warp points too. It felt like a way to pad the length of the game, and I do think it hurt the pacing. My second annoyance had to do with material allocations. Specifically when in order to make a weapon or piece of armor, you need to farm for mats in a completely different area. This doesn't happen too often, but when it does (end of the game I'm looking at you) it makes me a sad panda.

?
How is filling up the gauge a bad thing???
Oh yeah, another complaint -- Mishera's charge attack is freakin' stupid when it goes AROUND the enemies right in front. I mean, it just does a loop and not hit them. WTF?

It may have been because I levelled up too much, but that attack coupled with Adol's special really made a few encounters too easy.

Except for that damn Kava Kela(I think that's what it was called). RAGE. >:( That damn turkey is going DOWN. Again. Everyone is almost at level 32 and I definitely have the beefiest weapons possible at the moment. (Why the heck didn't I save after the initial time I defeated it? >_>)

I crushed the sand worm when I was on my way to visit the flame temple again. It was probably the easiest boss I've faced so far.
The birdie was one of the harder ones.

I think all those quest monsters are easy overall. I'm going after the Sand Eater after I get back from the ruins ... which is pretty much the second Flame Shrine visit. :3

I got cocky and went for the centipede thing too, but that was a bad idea. I took >1000 damage per hit. Oh well... Also, I did that damn Pikkard sidequest. Your guide saved that quest from being a major annoyance, so thanks~

^_^ You're welcome~~
I guess I should start updating the guide because I know I probably won't touch it ever again after completing the game. :P

my complaint is mostly about the PSP system, I prefer controllers. after an hour of play orso I get cramps in my fingers. hopefully they will fix this with the PSP2. I tried those extra grip thingies, but they suck as well due to these issues with the psp system, I quite suck at the game

"Spoiler Maybe"
The boss that you fought before reaching wind altar. I think when it's HP is around 75%, his attacking speed just became real fast with all the wind attacks and all.
