I was really looking forward to playing this too. I loved both Legends games, so much in fact that I wanted to play through the Japanese versions to hear the original voices as well. When news of this 3rd game getting released hit, I was extremely excited and even contemplating purchasing a 3DS solely to play this game since it would be the very one that had the highest chance of sealing the deal of purchasing a new full-priced console...
It's very disparaging to hear this news and I don't think it is going to be good publicity for Capcom. I think they made a mistake with hyping this for so long (I even thought it was officially coming out!) only to pull the project in the end. That's now two MegaMan titles that have been canceled. I'm starting to really think that Capcom is really starting to not care about the Blue Bomber anymore aside from downloadable titles. Maybe there is a good reason Keiji Inafune left the company. I do remember hearing something about the reason being that he wanted more creative freedom over new titles and ideas, but that could have just been a rumor.

First no Gyakuten Kenji 2 (Ace Attorney Investigations 2) in English, and now this. Bad Capcom, bad! Pretty much this. I am sick of Capcom. Heck, even if AAI2 was given a western release I'd probably buy it used out of pure spite. There's really nothing left at Capcom that interests me anymore. Mega Man is dead and who knows what's gonna happen with Ace Attorney.

I really looked forward to Legends 3, though. *ditches Capcom*

He had a lengthy interview back when he announced his resignation from Capcom about how he was tired of the company's ways and wanted to break free from them. It seems to me that since Inafune left Capcom has started to show its true colors.

I diagnose Capcom with allergies... to money.

Yeah, nothing else Capcom is making interests me, guess I'm done with them. AAI2 isn't coming out, and somehow I doubt any other game in the series that comes out will either.
We might get the Layton crossover game, but given Nintendo's track record lately... I dunno.

I hope that doesn't get canned.

The AA vs. Layton crossover is going to be handled by Level-5, so if we don't get it we can point fingers at them instead.

(At least the Layton games)

(At least the Layton games) Level-5 is opening (has opened?) an office in the west, so they'll be handling their own games from now on. Although I just heard this rumor that apparently Level-5 is leaving it up to Capcom to publish PLvsAA... and Capcom is leaving it up to Level-5 to publish it... EDIT: Did a little more research. They apparently aren't localizing their own games, just developing. My bad!

Great, now I'm even more depressed that we'll never see the game... Still, thanks for sharing it.
