Oh, I'm not annoyed either. Didn't have the other CD anyways and I can always order the one I wanted again. I was just surprised because I've never heard of Falcom making any sort of mistakes in ordering before.

To be fair, 85k units is a LOT for a Falcom game to sell in its first week, and maybe they were so busy getting that many units ready to be shipped out the door that they assumed all of the international orders were for Zero

So I just cleared the game last night with Randy's route~ That was a lovely game. I want the sequel now.
Is anyone up for some spoiler theorizing?

Alright! I finally figured out how to get the spoiler tags to work so here I go. This is mostly compressed from my lj entry, but it's still hugely long, so forgive me~
WARNING, THIS HAS SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE GAME
First off, what kind of an ending is that?! Falcom, why are you so evil? I mean the game is wonderful but I want to keep playing!
Questions:
Who killed Guy? My guess is that the 'accident' Lloyd's parents died in was actually a murder that Guy was investigating, as was the death of Arios's wife Saya. This is mostly because I want Lloyd and Arios to team up and have an awesome Combo Craft~
On a related note, who does that unmarked grave belong to?
Who is Randy's dad? The nickname 'son of the war god' sure makes him sound scary, and given Randy's upbringing it doesn't sound like his father is particularly nice either. This is unfounded speculation, but what if Randy's dad is the 7th Hebi no Shito, the one who was as good or better than Loewe at swordfighting?
What is Lector up to? It seems like he has ESP, the way he crushed Gantz at the casino~ Also, I'd guess Osborne is connected to Ouroboros, since he apparently predicted the whole mess. Maybe he was planning to move in with the Imperial Army to 'restore order' and incidentally annex Crossbell..
Zeit probably has the same job as Regnart from Sora no Kiseki SC - watching over some sort of artifact, presumably linked to all those bells.
What are all those demons from 3rd doing here? I thought they were invented by the Lord of Phantasma based off religious texts, but they actually existed? Those demon cannon things exist in REAL LIFE in Zemulia? Scary!
It does seem like the military wing of the church should show up next time. I would actually crack up if Kevin gets sent to collect KeA and she snubs him like she did Estelle and Joachim XD;
Lastly, can Lloyd see the future or was that dream just a coincidence? How did he hear KeA's voice when even Tio couldn't?
But anyway, the number one thing I want to see is definitely a family trip to the amusement park in Micheleam. They can bring Shizuku and Jona along (the latter by force), maybe Mihail if he gets strong enough. Lloyd can buy the kids Misshi straps and Elie can freak out at the haunted house. This needs to happen. BADLY.

I was wondering if any of you could answer some question regarding zero no kiseki. It's about a random enemy encounter called *Shainingupomu*. I just can't manage to find it on the *Bell, East Cross Route* near the bus stop. As stated on the wikia. I think there's an additional requirement or the chance is just extremely small or i have to find it before the *resting area event*. I need confirmation on the site of appereance though. If you have any hints, i'd appreciate it. It's just that i'm a crazy completionist when it comes to rpg.

Sorry~ I ran into a few regular Poms at the ruin near Maintz, IIRC, but I don't recall any Shining Poms. Anyway I saw on 2ch that apparently the new guide has maps, designs and info on the Empire. It might not mean anything though since the materials guide for 3rd has illustrations of Alteria, but the game never let you go there! Also I'm replaying on Hard mode and I carried over my levels, which makes it kind of frustrating to build up any CP at all since the enemies die so fast. Then again, I'm only in Chapter 1 still. ^^

Well, this time around you have the option of staying at a fancy hotel to replenish your CP, so I may start doing that later on. Some of the treasure chest monsters were REALLY HARD!

Haha, Falcom is running a mini-poll on Twitter for which little kid NPCs without face portraits are the most popular. I voted for Jingo ^^
EDITED to correct a mistake ^^; Sorry for the double post, too~

I feel like half the posts in this thread are mine. Sorry! Someone on 2ch posted snippets of the interview in this month's Dengeki Playstation, so I thought I would add the info here. If someone finds the full interview I'd love to translate it~! About Cassius, Loewe and Arios: Interviewer: Incidentally, I'm curious about the difference in strength between Cassius, Loewe and Arios. How do they rank up? President: It's a popular topic on message boards, isn't it? LOL In terms of attack power, Loewe and Arios are roughly equal. Since Cassius switched from the sword to the staff, he lags behind them, but in terms of tactics and knowledge he far outstrips the other two. As a result, his total strength is greater. Plus Cassius is much more popular. About Abbas: Interviewer: I felt that Abbas really stood out among the other NPCs. Is he actually an incredible person? Kondou: We make hundreds of NPCs, and very rarely a character like that appears. LOL Setting-wise, Abbas is a character designed to support Waji. By acting as Waji's backup, he gives the impression that Waji is not an ordinary person. In spite of this, Abbas himself established a strong presence! LOL

Well, why not? That tower was made by the medieval alchemists who were researching stuff related to the Goddess, so it's reasonable there would be some religious symbology.

Oh look, a bump. I WONDER WHO IT COULD BE. Yes, it's me again orz. Falcom announced a novel serialization of Zero no Kiseki on twitter, called Zero no Kiseki: The Four Destinies. It'll run in their brand new online magazine, which you can buy through the App Store and shinanobook.com. I'm wondering if it's meant to fill in the blanks between Zero and Zero 2/SC/ , the same way that the Ring of Judgment manga is set between 3rd and Zero.

I've been playing ZnK with the help of a walkthrough, more specifically, THIS one: www.gamefaqs.com/psp/995652-eiyuu-densetsu-zero-no-kiseki/faqs/61114It's the only one I could find. Unfortunately it doesn't include the last two chapters and since I don't understand Japanese I'm stuck now! Could any of you point me towards a complete walkthrough? Maybe a Japanese one I could use with Babelfish?

Two questions: First, why are you using Babelfish to translate anything (especially Japanese)? Second, why are you playing a plot and character based series if you can't read a word of the language? You're missing almost everything that makes the games great.

Well, I can't read Japanese either, but I still really enjoy the series... And that's just from getting the main points from this site and TV Tropes (not the best place for info, but if you've got no other lead...)
Though it's true you miss a lot things if you don't know Japanese. One of the reasons I love visiting this site daily.

Babelfish or any other translation site. As long as it does the job it's fine by me. And to answer your second question: I know I'm missing most of the game, but I still like it. I just love all of the LOH games. I've played the SnK trilogy using AGTH and Atlus and wish I could do the same on the PSP. Anyhoooo.... you didn't answer my question.

It's what I did when I started learning new languages; I always learn best when I'm doing something practical rather than reading a textbook, so a nice wordy game coupled with an online dictionary is just about perfect for me. Besides, we've all got to start somewhere right?

Actually I'm not planning to learn Japanese. I just want to finish all LOH games and unfortunately, in this case, it means I need a walkthrough.
