I'm having this bug with Ys I & II Complete with Nightwolve english patch, the fps stay in 20 and my pc is pretty powerful. The bug seems to be with Windows 7 since i didn't have this problem with Win XP. PC spec: Intel® Core™2 Quad Q8300 NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 4 GB Ram Windows 7 (64 bit) Here this dude also had the same problem with the 20 fps: seldane.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ysI&action=display&thread=4611According to him Nightwolve sended him a .exe that fixed the problem, maybe that .exe could also fix mine... Any idea on how can i get that .exe? Any help will be apreciated.

Hm... I could only guess that it has something to do with the fact you are using a dual GPU graphics card. I don't know where that particular executable is, but you could try disabling one GPU core in the NVIDIA profiles section. I've never used a dual GPU before, so I don't know if that's even possible.

Actually, this is what really happens:
Nightwolves patcher updates the game before it applies translation hacks and the noCD crack. Unfortunately, the logic behind the graphics detection doesn't work properly anymore for a lot of people and the patcher doesn't know how to identify your GFX card so it downloads the ATI fix update (0203) from falcoms site (instead of the normal 0107) and patches that.
To fix this, I simply installed the game on a non-ATI system (virtual machine actually) with an older graphics card and then copied the executable to my installation and this fixes it.
Edit: This seems to be a recurring issue as people get newer cards. Mods, If it's cool with you guys, I will link a copy to my 20fps fix patch. Just say the word :-)

www.megaupload.com/?d=2IAOLOXUDone like dinner :-) It's just like a diff patch using a little program called xdelta. Just copy the three files into your game directory after using nightwolve's patch and run the batch file. This makes a backup and patches the executable (effectively turning an 0203 patched executable into the normal 0107 patched executable).

Not really. Is it a big problem? The Fps is usually a standard and many emulators use it, maybe your machine is too advanced lol!
