Anyone else like Mega Driver? In my opinion, they have produced some of the best rock versions of classic game music. Even Scrap Brain from Sonic SMS! www.megadriver.com.br/site.cgi?pg=mp3

I've finished their Sonic album and am working my way backwards. Their abuse of feedback is a little too dissonant for my tastes so far.
Ever hear of the Sega Rocks albums? It covers a fair sampling of various classic Sega themes (minus Sonic, I think) and is mostly pretty good. My only complaint is that the solos on the album tend to be completely out of left field and don't feel like they relate to the original songs at all

Their version of Fillmore is better than Charon's! (site does not exist anymore) It's the only other rock version of Fillmore I've ever heard.

I haven't listened to Mega Driver in many years, but I still remember how awesome their music videos are. And the Sonic and Mega Drive (or was it Genesis?) guitars. Oh hell yes.
