A petition has been created by a fan, and was sanctioned by Koei Tecmo. If it receives 20,000 signatures, Samurai Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends, Z, and Empires will be localized for western territories. Even if you aren't a fan of the series, if you have a moment of spare time, please sign the petition here!Thank you for reading this, and many thanks if you sign it as well!

Wow. If they actually follow through, it sounds like Koei is actually somewhat intelligent.
Wish the same could be said for Nintendo.

Yeahsee, the thing is, there would be at least a few thousand people who would end up seeing the game(s) and buying them without having even known about the petition in the first place.
At the very least, I'm trying to get the word out. I've been keeping a thread alive on /v/ for the past hour and a half.

I think Koei did so being aware of all this, though. xD
Perhaps they planned to localize the game to begin with, but decided to pretend it will depend on a petition, so that they gain the image of "Oh! A game company who ACTUALLY listens to people!!!", which could boost their sales and do themselves a good propaganda. xD
Just throwing in a wild theory. XD In eithercase, I personally agree with Mutagene for now anyway, but I do get your point as well, Wyrd.
Let's just hope for the best. xD
