GKH=Grand Knight History. According their twitter, which has been posting hints and clues, it all seems to tie together. If this is the case, this is fantastic news for folks out west. The game is delightful and filled with cool game mechanics. You could spend a looooong time playing this game. Twitter link: twitter.com/#!/XSEEDGames This one in particular makes it obvious: "[CLUE #3] _ _ A _ O _ / _ O _ R _ _ / _ N I _ _" Avalon, Logres, Union. These are the three nations at war in the game.

Just saw something to the same effect on their Facebook page. If XSeed is bringing over Grand Knights History, I'll just give them my bank account number, because they'll have all my money.

I love you guys.
I'm honestly surprised, though. I thought Ignition was in bed with Vanillaware.

Oh geez. XD So GKH, huh? This is awesome news, even if I haven't really been keeping up with Vanillaware -- I'm glad to hear that you'll be taking care of it! The last thing I want is for Ignition to go off and set aflame any semblance of a plot, burning it to its bare-bones, stale, and basic composition. That's one fire that has needed to go out for a while now! Congratulations, XSEED!

Heheh, that DOES figure. I'm guessing GKH is pretty basic, then?
// Also, from what I've seen, the only thing that really matches between GKH and other Vanillaware titles is the aesthetic? The gameplay seems largely turn-based?

I hadn't really heard of the game prior to the XSEED newsletter announcing it yesterday, but after watching a couple of videos on YouTube I can say that I'm intrigued. Putting this one on my watch list to pre-order once its listed!

Is the US version going to have the IP address blocking the Japanese version does? :S

I'll buy it. I'd rather it be a Falcom game as they come first in my life But, all good things come to those who gain weight...or something like that.

GKH. That's Valkyrie Profile innit?
Seriously though, great game. Love the sprites, hope it gets to the UK.

Amazon has a pre-order entry for GKH now, already got mine in! Tentative release date listed is 2/21/12, but Amazon doesn't have a great track record for firm release dates, so take it more as a guideline.
