Wow, what an amazing little program! Thanks a lot, wyrd. It took me maybe five minutes to download, rename, and change the file. Worked flawlewssly.
And that site looks real interesting. I have to take a better look at what they got there.

Bookmarked the site. Think I'll download this subbing program just to try it out. It could be useful for me someday.
And fortemp3, just to report, there's a little hickup in Don't Go So Smoothly. Maybe you'd like to take a look. Also, I noticed that in the installer's readme file it says that the intro with Lilia's silent. Was it fixed after that was written or isn't it working for you? For me it plays just fine.
PS - just one more question, do I need to keep those mp3 files in the wave folder or can I throw them away?

Wait, it didn't delete the MP3s? It should have done so automatically.
Argh. It's a seriously inconsistent bug. I've had it do that on rare occasions and thought I had it worked out. I'll take another look at it, but it may be a few days before I get a new installer out. I may just have to start from scratch, since retrofitting Inno Setup hasn't worked to plan.
On the subject of the readme, it says "MAY" be silent. For some reason that track never played on his setup.

Hm, I'll try to do what I can about looking into these problems on my next day off. We will be releasing a fixed version of the Ys2 set with the proper track names, sorry about that mixup. Tracks 28 and 29 (Feena and Over Drive) somehow got backwards in their naming because we were using Deuce's track listings for reference, and it turns out two of the tracks in his listing were backwards. The .pos files should be fine as is, but...Yeah, we'll be releasing a fixed version of Ys2 later on, until then just swap the filenames of the two .wavs in question and they'll work. Leave the .pos files alone in this case.
The MP3s should erase themselves when done, if they don't, you can nuke them, yes, all you need are the .wav files.

Nrgh. Look, if it didn't work, I need details on that, MP83. Just saying "Didn't work for me" isn't going to help me fix the thing.
In order to document this a little better, here are the problems I've seen so far:
1. Reports of the WAVE_44New not getting renamed to WAVE_44 at the end of installation. 2. Reports of the MP3s not getting deleted properly. 3. Reports of one of the Ys 1 or 2 tracks clicking.
If you're getting #1, report to me what OS you're using as well. I have some suspicions on what might be wrong here.. and I'm getting suspicious that Vista is involved in at least SOME cases.
I think I've worked out the issues on #2 this evening, but it definitely needs a little more testing. I'm compiling and uploading to Megaupload right now. If you get #2 on revision .99a1, then get me info on what OS you're running as well so I can try to work out what's going on. If you get #2 on .99, that's due to a screwup on my part that I missed during the rewrite-- don't bother reporting this, just try a newer installer.
If you're getting #3 and it's not the Palace track from Ys 1 and hasn't been reported here, report it, please. While we've tested every file, it seems like there are some subtle differences in how some tracks are being played on some machines. We'll adjust things accordingly for those cases to try to remove clicks.

Hi! Well this is my contribution to the project: A more "properly" edited sound file for Ys I Complete ending. www.mediafire.com/file/hweomtajuym/ys115_44.wavI made the file work just by renaming YS115_44.POS to something else. Btw, feel free to use it in your bundle if u wish =) Enjoy u all =)

I hope it's alright Lex, I used your ending credit track, since I preferred it over my version xDI've added your name in the readme credits accordingly~ [ Talking about my Ys Extra soundtrack replacer] WyrdwadI did this a while ago, but never posted it... I was always a fan of the original eternal version, but still am a sucker for the new chronicles guitar version. So... Maybe you will like them like this? I mixed together the original and chronicles for my Ys II extra soundtrack... which I need to update sometime~ ... and finally thanks for this replacer~ I did some for myself last October, but seeing that you did Ys II as well, is a very nice find!

I'd ask if there is a possibility of a reupload for this? Because by my understanding, it is the Chronicles OST implementation for Ys Complete, right? And if so, that's precisely what I need. Thanks in advance.

Thass right, and as a matter of fact, I think this thread should be stickied since it's so awesome.

It currently poses no worth due to inactive links. But should the soundtracks be uploaded, I agree that it deserves a sticky.

So, do they work? Anyone?

They do work. I even included them into the sticky thread but got scolded for doing so, which is nonsense.

Well, I guess they're worried about copyright issues. Anyway, I recomend also getting the file Lex posted and substituting it for the original file. It's a better edited version of the credits song in Ys I.

We, the collective moderation team, have discussed this matter thoroughly. We, Ancient Land of Ys, are adapting to a more user-friendly policy, applied retroactively. As such, Wesker's aforementioned topic has been restored by us as a team.

Heh. You're welcome (can't say if that's an actual line from any RE, but it probably is. And I'm looking forward to RE6).
