Hi Sara! Not that I can get Origin to work in translation but Oath, yes. And no, I haven't experienced any problems with III.
I noticed a lot of white bits on the Ys VI translation but it wasn't severe, didn't interfere with the game really.

Ummm those white bits wouldn't happen to be menu pictures would they. Cause if they are you used the wrong version of the patch.

Dunno what the current status of this discussion is but it is definitely NOT like that in the original version. They never go in the ground when diving, they stay above and rise back to their normal height. I have also never seen single ones glitch like they do in the Steam version.

About the texture bug persisting for me, can it be because I didn't uninstall the Japanese version before installing Steam's, or maybe because I still have a couple of saves from before?

Thanks for your patience. I think these bugs SHOULD be dealt with after today's patch. If anyone's still having trouble with them, please be sure to tell me.

I don't remember whether or not we've welcomed you, but welcome -- and awesome introduction! Well, it's on my Steam wishlist, just like the PSP version is still on my Amazon wishlist... but it certainly seems as though you've dedicated a great deal to it. I can't guarantee *when*, but I will support/invest in more XSEED some more in due time.

Of course I can dream, but I would love to pay for a voice DLC for Oath.

I know not everyone will agree with me, but I would LOVE to see a mod that gives it the PSP version's enhancements.

I was really surprised today when I loaded OiF to see if the update really got the game rid of all the bugs! At the title screen, I thought "what's those vertical lines doing there?", but then I loaded a save game and, after a couple of seconds, was like "hey, this doesn't seem stretched!" I played for a little bit, and not only were all the bugs gone, but it really was true widescreen. So, congratulations Sara and everyone involved! Can't wait to play Origin like that, and meanwhile I got a new incentive to play through OiF again.

Just popping in to say thank you for this amazing update!! Playing Oath on my flat screen TV and it looks fantastic. Truly great stuff and I can't wait to see Origin with the same treatment.

It's not a cheat, it's a feature!

Most common response: You don't HAVE to use the New Game+ features
that aside, W-Boost & the improved HP upping items gimped the challenge of the PSP version and I wouldn't want those in the PC version. Nor would I want the PSP's shitty resolution and reduced polygon boss models ;P

This is awesome! I would love to be able to play more Falcom games for PC! If you don't mind me asking, are there other PC Falcom games planned for Steam down the line?
