Hi all! You might be familiar with the spin-off manga "Sora no Kiseki Gaiden - Lowe Monogatari" by Daizuke Tazawa & Tarahi Rakuji that ran in Falcom Magazine between issues one through thirteen. We are Amimaru, a new digital manga publisher. It's our pleasure to tell you that we have licensed this manga as our first series in English! We call it "Trails in the Sky: The Tale of Löwe". We also sell Falcom Magazine itself, though only in Japanese. We only have chapter 1 and issue 1 available for now, but you can expect more from us in the coming weeks! Our digital manga reader is a Facebook app, and you can purchase chapters using Facebook Credits. If you're a Facebook user already, you don't need to create a new account or anything - you can start using the app right away. That's the beauty of it! This link takes you to the Facebook app.

What a shame. You had me until the words "Facebook app" and "Facebook credits." If you ever decide to go another rout please let me know.

Are you going to release anything Ys related in the near future? Maybe! We're currently collaborating with Field-Y, which is a very small publisher and doesn't have that much manga apart from The Tale of Löwe. Most of the manga based on Falcom's other franchises are published by bigger publishers like Bandai, which are much harder to negotiate with for us, because we're just starting up here. We need to prove our worthiness to them, so to speak. But if you have some manga you'd like us to get our hand on, do tell! We are currently setting up meetings with various other publishers, so anything is possible. Oh - and if you can read Japanese, the first issue of Falcom Magazine we have on sale includes the first chapter of the Zero no Kiseki light novel "Four Destinies" (四つの運命), written by Daisuke Tazawa and illustrated by Matsuryu.

That actually really does look super~! I just took a peek, curious, thanks to floofy's words on how it looked nice. (I had initially assumed from your words that I needed facebook credits to even take a peek. :'D)
Too bad I haven't even started on the first Sora no Kiseki. Despite the English translation. I guess if I do consider trying to read this, it would be after I finish that. As it looked... spoilery for someone like me. X'D (Obviously! Silly me.)

In a sense, you're already too late to avoid all spoilers Of course, it's stuff you could figure out by the end of the first game with a little attention to detail anyways... Just to be safe though, hiding for the benefit of anyone who hasn't played the later games: Heck, Loewe Gaiden actually contains Ao prerelease material, although the actual spoiler content really only goes up until the Ouroboros-centric bits of The 3rd. I suppose anyone who wants to have fun guessing the Seventh Pillar's identity should probably hold off reading until after playing that game. I know Arianrhod was a big surprise to me.
Speaking of The 3rd, not being at all caught up on the manga, does it go into any detail about his encounter with Rufina? I imagine if it doesn't it's something they could slip into the latest chapters in flashback form and I know the manga covers the appropriate time period.

Wow, this is really cool.
I'm pretty familiar with everything up to Zero and I'm aware of the 7th's identity from the pre-release info as well, so I'm assuming I should be safe from spoilers.
The only thing that worries me is that I have absolutely no idea how to use Facebook, but I managed to view the sample pages, so hopefully I can figure out the rest, like obtaining credits.

Oh, I actually meant Yakra who hasn't played FC yet but has already seen at least a minor spoiler regardless of how far he read. Though like I said, anyone who pays attention should be able to figure out that Lorence and Loewe are the same person once the game is over so that's not a huge deal. Anything beyond that now, yeah, there's a risk that either people will be craving a Trails fix and spoil a lot of things or that they'll avoid the translation because they don't want to spoil anything for themselves, which is a shame because it's really cool that it's being translated.

Please excuse the space. X'D I just spoiled myself I think (all totally my own fault!), and am trying to avoid looking and hoping I will go senile just now. But ne, thankfully, I didn't read much. I just read the first two pages and felt that since I knew so little about this Kiseki world, I should lay off for now.

Great news, everyone! We've kept this manga on the back burner for some time while concentrating on publishing other manga. We're finally continuing it now, however. Chapter 4 was published last week, and we're publishing chapter five tomorrow or so.
