When I was a child, I had the oppertunity to catch some anime. Most notable of the anime I happened to watch as a kid would be Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 and SDF-Macross Do you remember love home at my daycare mom since her daughters happened to be anime lovers. So I would watch some anime with them and the only two I remember happen to be those two, as well as the one I had myself on a VHS-subscription called Cyborg 009.
This has been very instrumental for me in that I love huge robots kicking the ass out of each other, as well as my fascination if not love to Cyborgs and robots.
But there was one show that I watched myself, I think I it went something like that I had gotten a different cartoon like Dino Riders and it had a commercial at the start, and I just went "That one, I want that!!" and that was a show called Saber Rider & The Starsheriffs.
It's a show about intergalatic Sheriffs that case after criminals called the Desperados.. I think. Whenever they died (the wicked ones that are) they wouldn't die, they'd simply get deported back to their dimension.
American / European Opening
Of course, as I got older and more specifically a few years back (like 5 or more) I looked it up and found out that it's actually a show called Sei Jushi Bismark.
Japanese Opening
And from what I found out, the stories are completely different from each other. When it had come over to the West from Japan, they had decided to mix match the episodes up and changed the story.
Now, that's the history about it.. Now to the awesome part.
I have been thinking like "Oh, I'd love to make a game about it" and apperently, someone had been thinking the same thing like me because people HAVE been working to create it as a game!
Alpha Gameplay
Now, I am for one can admitt that I am hyped for this game. Very few games today manages to make me hyped because most of them are all graphics and no soul. Now I want to believe that this game was made with soul rather than graphics, but that we'll see when it's finally released. But I just wanted to share it all with you!
Also, I thought Fireball (the guy in Red) were cute along with April (the girl). Fireball were my favorite though. There was one episode that was kinda sad involving robots horses.
